Yes I am very tempted in going and at the moment there are not alot of guests I plan to meet at LFACC this year, so would love to meet Sugar Ray and also Gazza being a big football fan to. Meeting Tyson was great even if it was short and sweet, after all watching him knockout Trevor Berbick with that amazing knockdown is one of my earliest boxing memories. I wish I could have afforded a photo shoot as well but the money went towards his sig on the glove I had. Also I have just got back from holiday, and read a book about Tyson which really reminded me not only of how brutual he was when in his early 20s but it also talked about Sugar Ray, Larry Holmes and a few others and as soon as I got home I was on youtube watching some of the classic knockouts over the years. Yes mate sometimes does get very expensive! how much were they charging for his signature / photoshoot? Tyson was indeed brutal alot of people forget that in his run to become youngest heavyweight champion he fought like 20 times in a year! Thank god for youtube can re-live so many great moments and some that we may have missed and apart from that good quality full fight DVD's are hard to get hold of!

Cheers mate I've bought a few pairs from there before, everytime I've rang recently there out of stock. Should be in next week apparently. You should try and make an exception for Sugar Ray, one of the best of all time! Hopefully another big name boxer will be announced. How was meeting Tyson? Great first couple of boxers sigs for a starter!
  3. Really, that's surprising theres not a deal for all 8 autographs. Would definitely go for it if they have an offer on all 8. I'm sure they will update the thread with prices for the 66 winners soon. Have you met them before? I suspect the reason why they don't have a deal on them is because they probably do enough business without a special price. Aside from the two Bobbys I've met the rest of the starting 11 at a few different shows (although I only met Alan Ball once) and as far as I can remember there has never been a group deal for them. Its understandable really, they are the only England team to have won a world cup and I suspect they will stay that way for at least another 30-40 years! Haha extremely good point mate. I want to get all of them to sign a 66 world cup shirt hoping its not too pricey. What did u get signed when you met them?
  4. Ok thanks for the info. Fingers crossed a group price is implemented.

  6. Does anyone know how much it would be for all 8 world cup winners autographs on a shirt? Thanks guys
  7. I think it was up there just after you posted your comment. lol. Do you know how much it would be for all 8 players signatures on a shirt? cheers mate
  8. They just added an announcement and image of the 66 players on the main site, no thread on the forum as of yet though

Like I mentioned before I’d love to meet Lenox Lewis, but we already have a massive boxing guest attending so I’d be very surprised if SM managed to land another for this event. Barry McGuigan was great fun to be around and I think he would be a big draw for fans. Plus with his new autobiography out he might be willing to do this type of event to generate some interest. I've heard Lennox Lewis rarely does signing events such as these. Mcguigan is a great idea, would like to meet him. Although we already have a massive boxing guest I'm still hoping! Boxers are usually the most popular guests aren't they?

He probably would be popular just think a well known British fighter would bring wider public to the event. Which boxers are you hoping for?

Eklund & Ward would be great not so sure about Leon Spinks to be honest, don't think he would be as big a hit as say a great British fighter like Ricky Hatton or Naseem Hamed

Hey, how about that, didn’t have as much as I thought. I’ve got gloves signed by Sugar Ray Leonard, Joe Calzaghe, Jake LaMotte (with a nice big line on the glove where he dropped the pen, Ahhhh!), John Conteh and the late, great Sir Henry Cooper. Also got a pair of trunks signed by Smokin’ Joe Frazier that look amazing. There’s also a tonne of signed photos somewhere as well…really got to get my collection organized. Ive seen the plain red lace up everlast gloves in one boxing store bought 4 pairs!! but they don't sell em anymore! The everlast link you gave me has them but out of stock and $70 plus shipping! http://www.everlast.com/Leather-Autograph-...ductinfo/EVLAG/ Oh damn dude that's a shame! We spend so much time / money gettin stuff signed properley and then something like that happens. Does it look really bad or is it just a small line? Never met Joe Frazier before, I got a Pair of black and White everlast trunks that I want him to sign replica version of what he used to wear back in the day. I hear he's over in the uk quite often. Where did u meet him? Yeah bud it's definatley worth sorting your stuff out or even just make a list of what you have so you don't forget and lose stuff. The signed gloves I have are Lennox Lewis, David Haye, Joe Calzaghe an Amir Khan pair. I have all the signatures on the same model of gloves so really wana find these same ones for sugar ray! Are u still gonna come to sportsmania even though u met sugar Ray? What boxers are you hoping are announced?

Take a look at these; -The best priced ones I've seen http://www.jjbsports.com/everlast-sparring...p-product/13022 -Over priced but look authentic http://www.amazon.co.uk/Everlast-Boxing-Gl...953&sr=1-11 -Nice looking but doubtful they would arrive in time from the US http://www.everlast.com/Wristwrap-Training...uctinfo/EVWWTG/ The problem is it's hard to find gloves without branding on the back that look 'old school'. P.S. Sorry mods if I have broken any rules by posting online stores. Wow thanks bud all 3 look great especially the Amazon pair. Appreciate it. I know its so hard to find a pair of old school gloves without branding on them, which gloves do you use for signings? have u met sugar ray before? What fighters signed gloves do you have? cheers bud
  15. Yeah it's always best to get closest looking replicas as u can if you got that reaction it must have been real genuine looking! Ironically I'm hoping for a few of the 1977 United FA cup winners. It's still early though right? Do you know when the guest list is finalised?

Hi all, I'm kinda new to boxing memorabilia so wanted to ask if anyone had a good recommendation of boxing gloves specifically for autographs for Sugar Ray if anyone knows! Thanks!
  17. Not alot then! Guessing you would love some ex L pool players to attend in July. Did you buy the photos at the event? Im united fan mate hoping for some ex players to be announced soon! Where do you get your replica shirts from? Toffs? What do you think of the guests so far
  18. If a woman could get her backside signed by Robert Englund at CM over the weekend,a pair of boots seems a very reasonable request! Haha, compared to that I think boots should be fine!! Enjoy the show over the weekend? Couldnt make it unfortunatley. What autos did u get
  19. Photo shoot would be great. Any other names on the flier not yet up on the forum?
  20. Cheers mate great news, never been to SM before so looking forward!
  21. Great news! I wonder why it hasn't been confirmed on the site / forum?
  22. Thanks mate. Would I also be able to get boots signed by Paul as well or is it shirts only?
  23. Wanna see a few of the United 1999 treble winners! Dwight Yorke, Nicky Butt, Roy Keane, Gary Neville, Peter Shmeichel!! Any well remembered ex united players in general actually!!
