  1. Separate queues. Could you (or someone) just double-check that there's not been a mistake with the floor plans? Are you really putting all the big guests AND the cosplay stage on the small balcony? Surely that's obviously an awful idea... TooTall worked on these for days, there has not been a mistake. Last time I was in this hall I had a foot injury and was on pain killers, so my memory is a bit fuzzy. I do remember going up stairs and there was a full fledged floor which had more than enough rooms for the signings. This balcony part is only one part of the hall. So no guests floating in mid air. Plus the balconies are not quite as narrow in the signing/stage area anyway. The balcony is the entirety of the National Hall. There is no "full fledged floor". You must be thinking of the connecting halls. As long as you guys have scoped it out in person then I guess we need to trust that you've got it right but it certainly looks like it's not going to fit!
  2. There are the club & apex rooms attached to the balcony...? On one side, on the other side they have Bill Paxton, Props and Photoshoot A which must be on the balcony as there are no side rooms so where are the "Guest Zone 1" signings going to fit? Obviously not where they're labelled as that's in mid-air...
  3. Actually, Guest Zone 1 is more than just the big name signings... Do you have the guests floating in mid-air?
  4. Separate queues. Could you (or someone) just double-check that there's not been a mistake with the floor plans? Are you really putting all the big guests AND the cosplay stage on the small balcony? Surely that's obviously an awful idea...
  5. Yep, so they've put the cosplay stage on the tiny balcony (???) and will have all the biggest guests/queues between it and the rest of the convention? I'm sure we're misreading it somehow as I don't even see how a stage could fit there, nevermind the audience.
  6. Having a second look at it, I'm a bit confused now. The 1st floor of the National Hall is just the narrow gallery area, right? On your floorplan it leaves out the big hole in middle but if I'm interpreting it correctly that's where you're putting the cosplay stage AND all the big signings? Around that narrow walkway? Or are there siderooms not on the plan being used?
  7. Thaks for getting this up :-) A few questions: Is the only entrance/exit the main one into the National on Hammersmith Road? How does re-entry work on the Saturday/Sunday if you've already attended the Friday? Do you need to queue up each day or will we get a wristband/whatever to allow easier re-entry? Where are the temporary stairs that you paid for going to be? It might be useful to link to the floorplans from Olympia, e.g. http://olympia.london/sites/default/files/floor-plans/Olympia_National_Ground.pdfwhich properly show the stairs, toilets, etc.
  8. It's a bit worrying that you don't have final approval on the venue until a few days before the con, especially after the shambles at MK.
  9. Can you at least confirm which halls are being used now? Would help a lot in terms of organising cosplay photoshoots, meets, etc if we knew which buildings were being used.
  10. It can't JUST be in the National as the capacity is too small and people have mentioned the use of multiple halls.
  11. I have not said that were dose it say that on my facebook page ? "I have been working on the floor plans for this years London Film and Comic Con 2015 one night down one more night to go and it will be done" People have interpreted "done" as "released", hence the confusion.
  12. Can't find it now, only reference I can find is Jason saying the floorplan would be released last week.
  13. I'll try to find it. I think it might have been someone posting a screenshot of a PM to the showmasters account.
  14. Cheers. Just lots of contradictory information floating around (hence my post about the venues) and it'd be good to get any details that are available (obviously subject to what you're allowed to disclose, etc).
  15. That doesn't answer the question at all. Last year, because they massively oversold, people leaving to pop outside briefly were refused re-entry (with hand-stamps, etc) as they were at the venue capacity. There's no selling tickets on the day this time so there shouldn't be any issues If it's split over multiple halls as is being suggested and these have different capacites (4k, 4k and 2k roughly) then I can't see how there won't be the same issues. People trying to enter a hall that's at capacity will have to be refused entry and sent around the site to a different hall.
