I began cosplaying in 2012 using cardboard to make armour, and sewing. As I developed my technique (a working progress!) I changed to worbla, then EVA foam, and I am currently using a mixture of the two as well as clay (for fine detailing) and am continuing to improve my sewing skills. My favourite cosplays involve making elaborate armour, and I tend to cosplay male characters more than female ones (I often prefer their designs). My favourite cosplay so far is my Kael’thas Sunstrider, (Master Skin), from Heroes of the Storm. This cosplay was challenging for me and involved learning a new skill: making scale maille.
