The Truth Hurts?

At the recent Summerslam PPV, Steve Austin spoke to the locker room regarding how they present themselves in public and on TV. He said that the standard of dress was appalling, and that there were no new stars on the horizon because they didn't think out of the box with ideas. He reminded them that he came up with the Stine Cold character after he was lumbered with the Ringmaster gimmick. He also cited DX as a positive move forward.

After he repeated these comments in a radio interview, some roster members went online to voice disapporival saying that he was out of touch and had become McMahon's mouthpiece as The Condemned didn't do that great at the box office.

But, as the saying goes, the truth hurts. The Attitude era was a purple patch for the WWE and no one since has raised the bar to that level.

All commments made by Austin are a matter of record online, and those of the roster members who opposed his views are online as well. The above is all fact, apart from the bold writing section which are my views.
