  1. 1. I was wondering if you won't have any more guests announced as it was said there would be 4 guests.

    2. 3 nomads. don't get me wrong, I don't need to hear the speech about "small"guests  etc. I have a very good memory about Leah Gibson. I am looking forward to meeting N Fisher.

I understand they are "cheaper" guests but I think 3 nomads are too much. (I understand that Kellan is an expensive guest)

Why? they have signed a confidentiality contract when filing Breaking Dawn and they won't really be able to talk about it. I already posted a comment regarding Billy for ET5 (I think after). Sure they can talk about other stuff but it is a Twilight con so they would be better to come after the release of Breaking Dawn 2.

some of my thoughts. I don't want to uspet or angry anyone but just wanted to speak.

I kind of agree whilst its awesome to meet new blood I would like to see known actors cos thats what makes it so special and surreal ad you get kind of star struck lol also we are paying the same amount of money to meet new unknown actors as we did to meet the already established Twilight actors :/

I have to say, its very much a double edge sword. As great as it is to have new guests to a con, it really doesn't count for much if you haven't actually seen them in action yet/or cant talk about the subject we are there to indulge ourselves in.

Dont get me wrong, Leah and Billy were wonderful guests, very sweet, approachable and all round fantastic and both me & my sis are really glad we had the chance to meet them. Having one or possibly two guests who we havent seen yet at a con is great as it mixes it up abit but so far, 75% of the line up for ET6 are those type of guests. It really is hard to jusitfy the expense of these cons for guests we know relatively nothing about, who have yet to be seen in the films, who wont be seen until after the con and legally can't talk about the films....I mean no disrespect but seriously is that really fair on attendees and guests? I imagine they may feel abit awkward when it comes to talks if they have to keep saying "sorry cant discuss it".

We are there to learn about them AND these films yet so far 3 of our 4 guests can't talk about them because BD are the only ones they are in. Kellan will have some stories certainly, but is that enough to carry the entire weight of the con on?

This is in no way a slight on any of these guests. I am certainly not being rude or mean any ill intent towards them personally so I hope people dont take it that way, its just as said before, these cons are not cheap and in order to maximise attendance particularly if numbers are dwindleling, not sure booking so many "yet to be seen" guests is the way to go. At least not until BD: part 1 has been released.

We most certainly would love to see some repeaters like Kiowa, Christopher Heyerdahl, Jamie Campbell, Gil and BooBoo. Definately need some wolves :D

I completely agree with you, we need wolves, even if they are repeats! and also i agree with you on the new guests part 100% :) BooBoo please :)

    Totally agree :D

  2. Pleassseee :) could we have BooBoo back? he was so nice and sweet and had time for everyone (:

And also, apparently Charlie has attended many times - so why not BooBoo?

anyone else agree with me here? :D

We would Love Booboo back and I know he wants to come back cos he said so on his Facebook and he said its up to showmasters to make him an offer, he was absolutly brilliant and we would really like to see him again :)

I want Booboo to come so much :D he's such a sweet guy and it would be so much fun with him there !

I want booboo too go shona :)

  3. If you can show me anything official that says you can upgrade (ME website, a forum post from Mark) I'd be happy to take it further.

But I'm sorry you should have asked first, as far as I'm aware we've never allowed upgrades apart from at the event it's self.

Ok i will try n ask who upgraded online thanks Stuart, sorry I didnt ask cos I already had that info I didnt know it would be necessary to check at time of purchase I just assumed as other people had done this it would be ok for me too :YAHOO: Hopefully I will be able to as it just makes things easier not having to carry around yellow phototickets and worrying incase i loose one :D

  4. Oh i wished id have known this at the time when i bought standard as i would have stretched myself to buy silver there and then ,as it was i just wanted to know i was going and I thought you could upgrade I heard on the et6 website that people had upgraded before they got to ET5 event online thats why i just bought standard?? :YAHOO:

  5. Can i upgrade to silver please before they sell out :D i am a regular con goer but I didnt have enough money at ET5 I have it now and if possible would like to upgrade as soon as I can :D soooo glad you are selling tickets as I really want an ET7 :YAHOO:

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure upgrades aren't allowed. Sorry.

do u work for showmasters i was allowed to upgrade at et4 to gold i have money i wanna spend :D ????

  7. About the photoshoot problem, there is another event which does not work the way Showmasters does, and maybe it could be an idea for future events: instead of photoshoot slips, the "tickets" for the photoshoots are on the badge itself, and you only have to stamp the badge for every shoot and auto.... I quickly drew a basic idea of what I mean, for you to see:

Do you think that could help the fraude decrease?

(Sorry for the clear lack of artistic talent here :D )

yeh that would cost less aswell prob as they wouldnt have to print out a load of photo cards too. :D

  8. As for the guests being in there which isnt that often, there is absolutly no way I would speak to them unless they spoke to me first and I would certainly not invade their privacy in any way whilst they are sitting relaxing because to me that is inappropriate and they need their space and we need to need to respect that . *rant over sorry* :D

    I completely agree Jenny!

I ended up having a drink and a dance with Bill on the Saturday night but I didn't ask him for it, I offered him a drink and he ended up picking Famous Grouse for myself and my friend to have as a shot with him, haha. If you leave the guests alone then they will all come to you at some stage, and if not then pay for a guest encounter, or at least bid on one. I leave the guests alone unless I'm at the bar and they're there too and I happen to be beside them, I'll say hello then, offer to buy a drink and thats that. But as I witnessed at the weekend, it's better to just leave them be. Bill came and danced with me, and that was awesome. Michael came up and spoke to my friend of his own free will, and Alex was chatting to me and my friend as well as Dan. It's better that way, I think. I'd hate to crowd them.

Wow that is awesome ! :D ....You see if you think about it like this , If you where a celebrity and I had people coming up to you in your face bugging you ..etc all the time you would want to get the hell away from them, now if the fans where cool laid back didnt bother them they would be like "WTF damn why isnt anyone giving me the attention that I am used to? I need to go mix and mingle" !!! LOL! no seriously they would think how cool are these people they are more like new friends than fans. :D

  10.

As for the executive lounge issue, my understanding is it was not people getting an executive room and going in to the lounge that was the problem, the issue was that the hotel was selling an upgrade to the executive lounge only. Some attendees were paying this upgrade fee to get access to the lounge and then allowing 4 or 5 of their friends in with them. This is what I believe Jason has spoken to the hotel about and is having stopped. The people that have an executive room with not be affected.

Surely that is the hotels fault though?? And are you sure it wasn't a group of people who *all* had exec lounge passes, but may have looked like one person had taken their group of friends in with them?? We were a group of 9 that all had exec rooms and passes, so again, would hate to think people assumed we were the ones!!

We had someone come to us to tell us they knew this was going on (the get one and let 5 in) and they'd over heard and group of 5 or 6 talking about getting in again on Sunday morning. They reported it as they didn't think it was fair, which it's not. Don't worry if you are in there legitimatly no one is having fingers pointed at them.

Yes it is the hotels fault and that is why Jason spoke to them.

  11. I agree I think it is bad people letting their friends into the executive lounge who havent paid, I have no choice as my husband and son always come with us and they have nothing to do with the Twilight Con, we gain access to this for them so that they have somewhere to go and chill use internet etc whist my daughter and I go to autograph sessions, photoshoots and talks. There where a considerable amount of more people in the lounge this year than usual and when we went up to join my husband and son there was no where to sit :D and no food left :D and i was not very happy cos i had paid alot of money for them rooms for the benefit of the rest of my family who would otherwise be bored with nothing to do and nowhere to go.

  12. Showmasters the weekend was "Absolutly Amazing "as ever  the only thing that i didnt like was the air con in the talks but that wasnt down to you. I like the fact that at ET4 we got all our autographs done on the Friday freeing up the Sat for talks and the Sunday for photoshoots ,it was so exhausing this year bouncing from photoshoot to autograph session then to attend the talks, I am literally still recovering and my photos with guest look awefull cos i was soooooooo tired and not in the mood for having my piccy taken :D LOL! I just love the fact that the guests mingle and that you can get close to chat to them and well just get to know them on a more personal level. Its good for the actors cos they get to increase their fanbase and also it gives the attendees their very own little individual memories of their time at the event. I feel us English are all respectful and relaxed with the guests anyway and we are not mad crazy Fans. Some of the questions at the talks where a little repetative so maybe a few back up questions could be prepared for the quiet spells lol ;) *Alex Meraz's cricket sounds * Other than that couldnt fault it as for mixing up cons I personally wouldnt like I mean ,I realise Twilight wont last for ever but for as long as it does last it NEEDS to be 100% twilight for me. After Breaking dawn unless Steph Meyer does some spin offs I guess mixing it with other Vampire shows would work in the future.

Once Again Thankyou so much for an Awesome weekend SM and Bring on ET6 Wooooooo! :D

  13. FRIGGIN HELL YOU CERTAINLY GET YOUR HEAD BITTEN OFF ON HERE..... s***!!!!!! :D Ok I WILL CHOOSE MY WORDS WISELY a number of us et5 goers had heard that Rob and Kristen MAY be attending the BAFTAS this week and we where merely being cheeky to ask if there was any way SM could work any magic to have them pop in just to say hello ! Obviously we dont know if they actually are in the country and no we dont have any evidence, the likelyhood of them popping in is probably zero and we know that but hey if you dont ask you never get and it was a light hearted comment to be taken light heartedly with no offence meant!!! :D

  14. OK apologies if this has been mentioned before but there is noooooooways I am reading through the whole of this thread. I just want to say PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we have TWILIGHT THEMED songs (variety) from the three sound tracks at the parties mixed in with current tunes ,I appreciate that not all of them are ones that u can dance too but I have gone through all three cds and there is at least ten tunes that would be good :) It would soooo make a difference and the partys would be more twilighty if you get what I mean :D THANKYOU SHOWMASTERS :(
