  1. I don't think I have replied in this thread but hey here goes my story. It was September 2008 and I had a Sunday off. I know 2 of my friends had planned to go on the Saturday and I said it sounded prettu cool. They had met some people, but I wasn't really that interested in metting anyone.

So, then on the way there one of my friends says "You do know Michael Dorn is there?" No way! I actually thought he was lying to me to wind me up :D

So when we get there, ot only is Michael Dorn, so is Denise Crosby. I met Michael first and I thought he looked bored. Quite acknowleding but didn't look happy.

Denise on the other hand was great fun. There was no one behind me and spent a few minutes chatting with me. She was one of my all time fave guests. So that was when my Trek collection begun.

  2. Okay my long and extensive list!

    Linda Park

    Hummmmm Oh and Linda Park

If you get her then I shall be there 1,000,000% sure! For Linda, I shall rob, cheat, steal lie, beg, pillage plunder, call in sick to work, compromise and whatever else I have to do to get my auto and photo. Well, maybe only call in sick to work but hey it sounds better :D

Oh and Nichelle so I can finish my TOS main crew signatures (of those still alive)

And maybe, just if possible... Linda Park!

And Timelord... yes I WILL GO if she is there :YAHOO: Just gotta see if I can make LFCC or if someone will be getting my the 3 signatures I want.

  3. Last year, I kept optimistic about this event, but I really can't see it happening. I think last year they had 2 guest Jen and Diane announced quite early but Like My Cylon, I have made other plans no for this event. I really hope this pans out as a Trek Con in th UK would be fantastic.

Fingers crossed for the guys though it'll work out.

  4. This is perhaps my fave Trek Movie. I love Khan, First Contact and Nemesis, but VI just edges it. It has a gritty story and keeps you on edge... At least the first time.

Star Trek 6, with a podcast commentary.

Newest one the guys have done. They enjoyed it much more than 5 but as they have seen it loads of times they knew they would. Very entertaining.

As for the film itself, my 3rd fav Trek film after Khan and Contact. Just brilliant. Makes me cry at the end.

  5. ENT: the Council, TOS Arena and got Way of the warrior for tonight.

Oh dear, I was hoping season 3 would get better lol. I do like TOS, but as someone who grew up with TNG and all the other series (being born late 80s), it's rather dated and I just can't get into it as much. I agree that it was one of the best TOS episodes though.

It is dated but you can see some where tng got some of it's ideas from. Some very good episodes in there.

  6. Just finished watching TOS: The Tholian Web

Season 3 was very lacking compared to the other 2, but this was a great episode. Just waiting to get on from work and watch Arena. A guest who we should get is Bobby Clark who played the Gorn. That was the first ever Star Trek Episode I watched.

  7. Peter Bonetti is there already. Part of the Chelsea 1971 squad :D

Hope they can attend both days. Possible get the full squad?

Sadly, that last part really is not possible. There's 2 who definitely can't be there (God rest their souls), and 1 who won't be there through choice. Hunt and Peters are the only others who could possibly attend from the 11. I'm sure there are a lot of other squad members though that SM could invite. Ron Springett, Peter Bonetti, etc. Jimmy Greaves is, of course, already there.
