    I'm so proud of myself right now!! I'm not English and have troubles understanding and speaking it, yet I managed to book my room. YAY ME!! xD

     

    Anyway, so they still take bookings with the code, the incredibly nice lady I had on the phone recognize the code as the one for Showmasters and took my booking. As other people here said the best is to call them :)

    Thing is, I'm French and my spoken English is not that good... I wanted to avoid calling the hotel but I guess I don't have a choice!

    Hello all,

     

    So is there any room left with the promo code or not?

    Plus when I try booking on the Radisson site for a triple room, it says "The number of guests requested exceeds the room occupancy available." Does anyone have an idea about what the hell it says that...?

    @shadow of Atlantis : Here is what my trip will look like, in case it could be of any help : I live in France, in Lorraine, near Luxembourg/Germany, so I am going to reach Frankfurt and take the plane over there. Then I'll land at London Stansted (it appears to be the only airport serviced when you take the plane at Hahn) and then I'll take the bus to Northampton (3 of 4 hours with something like 1 hour wait at Luton, if remember well)

    I agree with you Shadow of Atlantis, Northampton is VERY difficult to reach... I live in France and I have to take the plane to London, then the bus to Northampton :borg:

     

    Try to look for a pub, that's what I did and I found a very cool place to stay, and with the help of QS it's gonna be great :(

    I'm Elodie, 20, French ! :)

    I love Stargate since I'm *thinks* er... something like 12 or 13, can't remember precisely.

    Chevron 7.5 will be my first convention, if I go. It's not 100% sure yet, I'd say... 90% ? xD

    I hope I could get a Gold ! ^^

    I'm a bit scared because I will travel alone, take the plane alone, then the bus... But I'm confident, I'll surely meet great people and make new friends ! :D

    Yep, I've contacted them via this form. I guess either they haven't received my mail, or they don't have time to answer, but I find this hard to believe.

    Anyway, if I really have to I'll call them, but I'd rather prefer not to :cylon:

    @MajorCopeSG1 : You're right, 25£ is nothing by comparison with some other places. Thing is, I've sent an email to them and they don't answer :P I don't feel like calling them, because I'm just VERY bad at talking in english.

     

    @Mojoe : LOL ! Scottish is indeed hard to understand, I remember when I was in a vacation camp in Scotland, we visited a beer manufacture and there was a Scottish guide - my god, we couldn't understand a single word lol ^^

    (Please excuse my poor english, I'm french)

     

    So, here's the trouble. I'm planning to go to Chevron 7.5, but as you know, going alone and staying in a hotel is a bit expansive... So I'm looking for a roommate.

    I plan to stay in The Fish Inn, it sounds great and since I'm French, I want to taste the english culture lol ^^
