How about Lionel Jeffries? A screen legend if ever there were one....
-
I'd like to suggest telly legend Bill Maynard. I don't think he's done a signing before and he lives in the Midlands so that could increase the possibility. He's keen on fudnraising for the Royal British Legion so I don't know if that could be tied in somewhere. It would be awesome if he attended.

Sorry to let you down but Red Buttons is dead.
I'd like some more Carry On names - some obscure ones rather than the obvious.
Also some people from Willy Wonka or Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
-
Magic !
Any chance of images from her Great St Trinians Train Robbery or Hard Days Night films as well ?
A good name for the proposed Carry On reunion. Is this still happening or has it taken a back seat?
-
Nice themes there.
What about 'Ever Decreasing Circles'?
Briers, Peter Egan, Penelope Wilton, Stanley Lebor and Geraldine Newman have had lengthy careers and I'm sure would be good value.
Ditto for Felix Bowness from Hi De Hi.
-
A great idea - and of course there is Barbara Windsor who could tie in with the Carry On theme.
-
I'd like to meet Eva Reuber Staier - that would be a nice one for my Carry On collection.
-
Great idea - I would love to see this come into fruition.
There was talk on another thread about Babs Windsor for the proposed Carry On reunion. There's another name connected with Chitty!
-
Excellent news.
Will she be signing Carry On items?
-
Any more news on this rumour?
Let's hope it's true.

Angela Lansbury would be fantastic.
If Bond are still being invited, then fingers crossed for Margaret Nolan? Please?

Here's a potential theme for Autographica. I've met various actors from the series over the years, but it would be great to have them all at the same event:
Derek Jacobi
Brian Blessed
Siân Phillips
George Baker
John Hurt
Patrick Stewart
Stratford Johns
John Rhys-Davies
Christopher Biggins
Peter Bowles
James Faulkner
Bernard Hill
Kevin McNally
John Scott Martin
Guy Siner
Kevin Stoney
Alan Tucker
(and any others you can get!). Many of them are famous for other things as well so I think they would be popular.
You'll have a hard job getting Stratford Johns there.

Amanda Barrie and Johnny Briggs could be interesting, given that they've both appeared in cult films and programmes, including Carry Ons.
Keith Barron is also in Corrie now - he'd be a nice name to meet.
-
The Railway Children would be cool.
Also the Please Sir cast! (which gives me another chance to ask for Peter Denyer to be added!)
-
I met her a few years ago and someone presented her with a topless pic to sign. She refused. I wouldn't risk it.
Anyway, it's a great guest and I'm looking forward to meeting her again, this time with my Railway Children DVD in tow!
-
Any updates on this one?
I hope Peter Denyer is included this time.
-
This is fantastic! I have been waiting to meet Sally for ages. Will be a nice addition to my Man About The House DVDs.
-
Please could Julian Holloway be considered for this event? He is a great Carry On name and notched up at least 9 Carry On appearances on film and television. Also appeared in cult programmes such as The Sweeney and Doctor Who.
-
Excellent guest. The man is a legend! Would be fantastic to see his wife in attendance too. That would be really amazing.
-
Sally Thomsett from 'The Railway Children' and 'Man About The House' would be a fantastic addition.
-
And of course there's Bernard Cribbins!
-
Yes absolutely.

David Barry told me Peter Denyer was keen to attend the last event but wasn't approached. Carol Hawkins told me she hadn't been approached for this one but Cleall had. It would be nice for some of the 'adults' to attend too - Alderton, Richard Davies and Jill Kerman.

Great guest! Been after meeting her for years!
Would be great if you could track down the other Birds of Paradise from Carry On Dick - Laraine Humphrys has just attended a Carry On event so she's about.
