  1. I've wanted to meet The Matrix crew for a very long time, and this was a great moment to finally meet some. It's a shame the talk didn't have much more folks, I wasn't expecting it to be that... small

Must admit the Matrix guests were soooo cool! They made jokes, hugged people and really seemed to enjoy being there. They also stopped me a few times when I went past them to have a chat because no one was in the Queue at that moment, especially Julian was having a ball he's great. AJ Buckley (thanks again for getting a CSI guest) was a real sweetie too :0)

Oh yeah hi again, we spoke in the que. I was the guy in the Dharma uniform (black boiler suit, work helmet). I never did say goodbye, you just ran off at some point during the Matrix talk :/

Also I STILL don't know your name other than Draco. WHY MUST YOU BE SO DIFFICULT?

    erm... how are you?

  2. Left 4 Dead 2 will be coming out November this year.

It be great if we can get 4-8 PCs or an xbox 360 with 4 controllers. Left 4 Dead is a great example of co-op gaming and it will be great for random guest to join in. 4 players is enough for a normal campaign, or 2v2 versus... but to get 6-8 people for a versus game might be trickey, but it be a lot of fun.

  3. Video Zone

Some good choices there. When I first heard about it I thought there was going to be an area with like 12 computer screens + tables (you know... like LAN Tournaments) but instead we got an easy to enter fun time. For a first time it was great but it got a bit tiring standing up most of the time. Add more variety of games (perhaps something Valve-ish?) and feature a bigger tournament and I can't wait till next year; good work so far!

    Artistic Alley

To be honest, it felt more like a rest-stop; which is fine but going around both days I never saw any of the artist lessons (or the lifedrawing which I was hoping to catch). I think there should have been a group activity that involved just anyone joining in to finish something? Drawing on random papers is fine as it is but it would have been awesome to see what everone chipped in and helped at the end of the day. A giant LFCC hand-drawn poster?

I've barely had any sleep but in short I enjoyed both zones; the video game zone worked better for this event as it brought people together, while the artistic zone felt more like a rest-stop. I hope you guys come back next year!

  4. Twilight sigs (Posters + Canvas) went around £60-150 *shudders*

Dharma Science Lab Coat (Lost) went for £15 (which is the only thing I wanted and... ironically lost)

    "Aliens" plasma Grenade - £45

LOTR Orc Ear £100... oh dear...

    "Heroes" Canvas + sig - £150... I think...

Star Trek Official used badge - £125ish?

    Star Trek Phaser - £250ish?

The rest I can't remember or were posters and such, most of them went cheap. There was also a spider I think...

  5. Hey guys; those asking for photos and such might have to visit youtube at the moment. Plenty of video footage and photo stocks there and if your lucky you might be featured (I know I am somewhere)

So here's a few links to keep you guys busy:

  6. Hello cosplayers, I have a question for you!

I can't find any information about it, but are there lockers or changing rooms available to cosplayers? If not it's no biggy, I shall just have to embarrass the other half by waltzing through his local highstreet in costume to the DLR but it would be nice if I didn't have to go through public transport in costume as its kinda delicate.

Well this is my first time cosplaying but I do remember last year that the toilets having plenty of room as well as a good sized mirror also; that's all you really need

  7. Attempting to go as a "Dharma" security worker from the TV series "Lost". I didn't want anything over-the-top; but something interesting... so; coverall... patch... other details. We see...

Just having fun; and of course trying to make it look right. I have no idea how its going to turn out...

  8. I'm going to be a Dharma worker from the TV series "LOST". Sadly the khaki/tan suits they use are only available in America and CAN'T be shipped here; so I have to use a black suit instead

It still be fine, but it's annoying that I can't have a prop gun since it's... you know... "realistic" and all. Stupid gun laws.
