  1. I always say I'll be Lara one day, but I've been saying that since I was ten and I haven't done it yet ^_^

Maybe for the 13th anniversary of me saying it (ie. my 23rd birthday), I should get round to it. I want to do the Nevada one though - I'd much prefer to wear trousers!

  2. I enjoyed it, no big complaints (except that you didn't give me Simon Poland to take home and keep!) but the party last night - a lot of us stayed solely for that reason and a few balloons are NOT a party. If I'd known it would be that, I would have saved the money for the extra night and gone home.

  3. are you coming as, suit moriarty at the end of the great game, or pretending to be gay moriarty from earlier in the episode?

I'm bringing the suit, "Jim from IT" and the geek!pyjamas I wore in the first video blog episode. :D

  4. I have a room Friday/Saturday/Sunday night and my friend has cancelled. It's a twin room, but with size of those rooms I'd be up for a floor-dweller too ;)

Alternatively, I could cancel my room and share with someone else, if anyone has space.

(I'm female, 22 and my room is at the Hilton)

  5. I am so not prepared for this. I still have to do a full clearout of everything I own and get packed, all by Friday morning! And I still don't know what to wear on Saturday night. Would being Moriarty twice be too much?

  6. Pretty amateurish advertising the date for 2 months then having to change it.

Does nobody check and double check with the venue and obtain a proper contract with the date set?

I guess not, else why would showmasters have to change it?

Better to only advertise event dates when they are set in stone.

They had a contract for Glasgow this year, it was "set in stone" - then it turned out the venue had double-booked them.

Sometimes things change and are outwith the organisers' control.

  7. I've stopped telling people mine is from Twi just becuase of the weird looks I get. Luckily nobody else has heard of it because it is buried in Eclipse....I can't hide it from you lot though hehe.

I'm the opposite, I like to tell people mine's an Ultimate Force thing just to hear them go, "YOU'VE GOT A TATTOO ABOUT ROSS KEMP?!" :D

(note: it isn't about Ross Kemp xD)

  8. Everyone that sees mine asks, "Who's Rupert?" It's not a person, but I don't fully explain - it's a fandom tattoo but also has a personal meaning. I ask if they've seen Ultimate Force and if they haven't, I don't explain further.

My planned one, for the other wrist, will be much more recognisable and will probably be laughed at more, but it's similar in meaning to yours, Vicky. :D
