I always say I'll be Lara one day, but I've been saying that since I was ten and I haven't done it yet
Maybe for the 13th anniversary of me saying it (ie. my 23rd birthday), I should get round to it. I want to do the Nevada one though - I'd much prefer to wear trousers!

I enjoyed it, no big complaints (except that you didn't give me Simon Poland to take home and keep!) but the party last night - a lot of us stayed solely for that reason and a few balloons are NOT a party. If I'd known it would be that, I would have saved the money for the extra night and gone home.
-
Leaving work in 15 minutes, see you all at the party! I will be Moriarty (the suit version)
-
are you coming as, suit moriarty at the end of the great game, or pretending to be gay moriarty from earlier in the episode?
I'm bringing the suit, "Jim from IT" and the geek!pyjamas I wore in the first video blog episode.
-
I've cut my hair for my Moriarty cosplay. All that's left is packing! I should probably look up train times too, since I'm coming from work tomorrow.

I have a room Friday/Saturday/Sunday night and my friend has cancelled. It's a twin room, but with size of those rooms I'd be up for a floor-dweller too
Alternatively, I could cancel my room and share with someone else, if anyone has space.
(I'm female, 22 and my room is at the Hilton)

I am so not prepared for this. I still have to do a full clearout of everything I own and get packed, all by Friday morning! And I still don't know what to wear on Saturday night. Would being Moriarty twice be too much?

Pretty amateurish advertising the date for 2 months then having to change it.
Does nobody check and double check with the venue and obtain a proper contract with the date set?
I guess not, else why would showmasters have to change it?
Better to only advertise event dates when they are set in stone.
They had a contract for Glasgow this year, it was "set in stone" - then it turned out the venue had double-booked them.
Sometimes things change and are outwith the organisers' control.

I was Ian's guest assistant and yes, he was lovely! He had lots of funny stories to tell too
-
I was Ian Lavender's guest assistant and I'd seen how many requests for the same dedication, so I asked for a line from my favourite scene. It says, "I like fish suppers!"
One crew member has a dedication on his photoshoot picture with Ian... it's all about me

I would like to swear because I'm furious AND a bit pleased. My birthday is the Monday, so now my plan is ruined, but it does mean I stand a chance at attending a US con the next weekend.
*confused*

No free huggers please
They've been banned for ages, why would they unban them now?

I can bring scrubs!Rory if that's any help?

I've stopped telling people mine is from Twi just becuase of the weird looks I get. Luckily nobody else has heard of it because it is buried in Eclipse....I can't hide it from you lot though hehe.
I'm the opposite, I like to tell people mine's an Ultimate Force thing just to hear them go, "YOU'VE GOT A TATTOO ABOUT ROSS KEMP?!"
(note: it isn't about Ross Kemp xD)
-
Everyone that sees mine asks, "Who's Rupert?" It's not a person, but I don't fully explain - it's a fandom tattoo but also has a personal meaning. I ask if they've seen Ultimate Force and if they haven't, I don't explain further.
My planned one, for the other wrist, will be much more recognisable and will probably be laughed at more, but it's similar in meaning to yours, Vicky.

I think I use it the least out of my friends, but still rather a lot - then there's the fact we all have our second accounts, Sherlock roleplay ones... I post much more on that than I do on my own
-
I have far too many events before then - I've got seven (possibly eight) left before the end of November alone. I doubt I'll even start thinking about Glasgow until June-ish
-
You really do hate me, don't you?
This'll be the third year I can't go to this one...
-
I've just bought my ticket - I was holding out to see if there'd be enough guests I wanted photos with to justify silver, but I've bought standard now.
-
I've got Friday sorted - Jim Moriarty. The perfect replacement for Tosh! Would anyone like to be my Molly (to replace Owen)?
-
I'm doing this:
http://www.maggiescentres.org/maggies/magg...on_20_mile.html
It's next Friday night, the 17th of September, in London. I'm planning on the 20-mile one - if anyone else is doing it, let me know what time you're choosing!

Okay, my friend is back in now - but we still have floor space if anyone needs it/wants to make the weekend cheaper
