  1. Awesome weekend guys!! Like a few of the others I think maybe sometimes when there is a big gap there's not much to do other than just sit around and do nothing.... but that's about the only thing I think really good do with improving. I think everything ran smoothly and worked really well!! It was awesome- well done guys!

  2. I've got my masquerade outfit pretty much sorted- mask arrived today. I have a million dresses to choose from and the same for shoes. But I think I've decided....not got all my baseball outfit sorted...I would have done but Billy canceled...got awesome chief swan baseball shirt that I don't really want to wear now so I'm gonna see what I can come up with with regards to an outfit, doubt I'm gonna stay for the 1920's party. I'm coming home from this and then going to London for 4 days....

I've got my hotel sorted, I've got outfits for the day sorted, I've got my reg letter....I think I'm ready!!!

  3. The line up so far is great, but just not enough guests for a final line-up.

No one has ever said this is the final lineup though.

It's not like people are waiting to purchase tickets based on who else is added to the lineup.

Whether it's today, tomorrow, or the week before the event, it simply makes no difference to anyone attending this convention when the guests are announced, beyond making you wait a little longer!

Perhaps you should do a poll?

    What would you prefer?

    1) A bit part guest announced RIGHT NOW to reassure you.

    or

    2) A cast member with a bigger role announced a week before the event because they've had longer to negotiate and do contracts.

I'd be very interested in the results, as I'm pretty sure I know what most would want.

If you're really looking for an answer to that question....number two is and will always be my answer. At the end of the day like you say we all have our tickets so no one's holding out to see who's coming. And also at the end of the day I'm a twilight fan- and to me that means that I'm not really bothered who I meet as long as I meet them. I'm happy with the 3 guests announced so far and when ME decides to announce any other guests I will be just as happy. :D ok sometimes the waiting drives me mad. But patience is a virtue!!

  4. Yay! When will they be announced!?!!!!

There's an old legend, handed down on tattered fragments of papyrus, that says that every time somebody posts "when's the next guest being announced?" (or words to that effect), the next guest announcement is delayed for at least an extra day...

    :D

lol love it! Think we should just all be patient. After all the Convention's not until October. :D

  5. The phrase 'el nombre' rings a bell but i dont know who he is? Can anyone enlighten me?

Also, i do like the story time idea.

Story Time sounds great :P I'd listen... It would be great to have a few more activities based around the books. Just cos you know..the books are pretty awesome.

As for El Nombre.... (Pardon the huge ramble, it's all from wikipedia)

"El Nombre was an animated masked Mexican gerbil originally from a series of educational television shows called Numbertime - a BBC schools programme about mathematics.

El Nombre is set in the fictional town of Santa Flamingo ("deep in the heart of Mexico"), home of Little Juan, Maria Consuela Tequilla Chiquita, Little Pepita Consuela Tequilla Chiquita, Tanto the friendly tarantula spider, El Gelato the ice-cream seller, Leonardo de Sombrero the pizza delivery boy, Senior Calculo the Bank Manager and the local bully Don Fandango. Whenever he is needed, El Nombre swings into action to solve the townspeople's simple mathematical problems, usually talking in rhyme. His character is a parody of the fictional hero Zorro, wearing a similar black cowl mask and wide sombrero, appearing unexpectedly to save the town folk from misjustice and generally swinging around on his bullwhip. However, unlike Zorro, he is often quite inept.

Initially, El Nombre's function was merely to write numbers in the sand to demonstrate the correct way to form a number. This was shot from an angle directly overhead leaving El Nombre almost completely eclipsed by his large sombrero. His appeal was instant and his success prompted rapid development of his role in the series. Since the basic beginning El Nombre has completed 7 educational series (his segment on Number Time) and grown into a 4-5 minute slot, acquiring dramatic storylines, a full cast of characters, and continued to demonstrate mathematical concepts albeit in a dramatic & entertaining way. Episodes have moved away from solving simple mathematical equations to fighting petty crime, unrelated to the number-solving which made his name and for which he was conceived.

As well as being popular with school children, El Nombre has developed a cult following amongst students and parents because of the many references to classic spaghetti Westerns. Indeed, his popularity has grown so much that in March 2004, the El Nombre theme song was released as a single."

    "

El Nombre is pretty much the reason for my love of Zorro, in a very messed up way.

  6. Well first of all hello to everyone I'm only on here as my daughter is at college - and I have the PC all to myself YIPEE!!!!!!!!

Awesome time at ET1 can't wait for ET2 (my husband thinks I've lost the plot!!!!) but who cares :firedevil:

Anyway I asked Kellan as question to catch him out as I wasn't convinced that it was him - he said he wasn't going to ET2 as he was attending another Con - Someone else asked him something - his reply was he was going to be in Germany in October - how true that is I don't know. The twitter name that I asked the question to was Kellenlutz and Ashley's at the moment is AshleyMG - I don't think they are real, as some things they say/or don't say just don't add up - but I could be wrong.

But I am real !!!! so if you want to follow me (Twilightmum49) please do - can't guarantee it will be interesting but you never know!!!!

I have some strange Americans following me, but hay it's just a laugh and I don't take it too seriously not sure what they make of me though I only talk about family and my love of music Oh! and have a rant about PerezHilton.

    :D:firedevil:

Kellan will be at the another show in germany on the 2nd to the 4th of October.

I'm sad that it turned out that the accounts were fake. I'm sad for the person who has so little importance in their life that they have to do silly things like that.

  7. Posted this in the wrong place, here should e etter!

Hey all, the official Peter Facinelli fansite emailed me asking for comments on meeting him at ET1 and photos I have of him! I sent a message through there after the con thanking him for coming. I have emailed them my photos facinelli but I think there would be looking for someone who had more contact with him, like in the guest encounters, meal or the dances.

If they email back looking for more people, is anyone interested??

I got one too! I think they are pretty much looking for anyone with any tidbits about peter during the con. I sent a long reply of all the cute/funny/awesome stuff I could remember. But obviously someone who did have more contact with him would be awesome for them!

  8. Mine are all in an envelope which is in the Edward/Bella totebag I won along with my pass card, and any other little bit of memrobiliia I decided to hang onto. I might get them framed but most likely I'll get a nice album and do a bit of scrap booking on the Twilight theme.

I think I'm gonna end up scrapbooking some of the pics that I took over the weekend. :) I've not done any for a while and this might just be too good a project to miss :)

Loving seeing what everyone has done with their ET stuff :P

  9. Seriously guys, thank you. it's due to your hard work with ET1 that ET2 has sold out so fast! It was such an amazing weekend, the best of my life! Now go make the next one ten times better! I'm sure you'll do us all proud!

  10. I'll have Peter or Cam on my birthday 20th May!!

And an announcement would be good too!!

Sorry - must take my mind out of the gutter!

I actually burst out laughing when I read that. :-) My mind is in just the same place as yours :)
