  1. Hi,

I recently lost my job and can't afford to attend the event. I know I can't resell my ticket - but is it possible to swap my Gold ticket with someone who has a silver or standard and wants to upgrade? That way I could afford to stay at the hotel on the Saturday night. I know it's probably unlikely, but just thought I'd ask. Thanks for your help.

  2. Have there ever been any chuck guests at a showmasters event? I've travelled to the US three times to meet Zachary Levi and the rest of the cast and would dearly love to see them (especially Zac) over here.

Zac goes out of his way to make time for fans and is one of the nicest guys I have ever met.

    What does everyone think?

  3. I am planning to go to Chevron 7.5, but don't have the money to buy the ticket yet - does anyone know when the tickets will go off sale? Is it two weeks before the event?

Also - can you buy tickets on the door?

    Thanks :)

  4. I'd like an event with 600 people only because events with more people than that just get too hectic and impersonal and there's no fun in them.

As far as guests go, I'd prefer main cast, but I know that 100% is pretty unrealistic, so I think it would have to be a mixture.

I saw Zoe Saldana at an event recently and she was amazing - an incredibly intelligent, interesting panelist.

Apart from the film I'd be more interested in guests from ST:TNG, ST:VOY and ST:DS9. I'd only care about Scott Bakula from Enterprise... and was very sad to miss him at the recent LFCC.

I'd really like to see Robert Duncan McNeill as I loved him in Voyager, and he is now a producer/director on Chuck :D

Also - what about behind the scenes people?

  5. so it doesn't work that say 30 people bid and the 20 top highest bidders win and everyone pays the least amount bid? it's just the first 20 people that bid?

No, it's the 20 people that bid highest. It doesn't matter when they bid, the amount counts.

    Let's say of your 30 people 5 bid 50 pounds, 10 others bid 30 pounds, 5 others bid 20 and 10 more bid 10.

The 5 who bid 50, the 10 who bid 30 and the 5 that bid 20 get to go, and all pay 20 each.

The 10 that went for 10 pounds would get cut off. Doesn't matter if the 5 50 pounds person bid 2 minutes before end and the 10 pound bids have been there for 30 minutes.

I don't know if this is a stupid question or not... but is the amount you bid on the sheet viewable by everyone who bids after you?

  6. Oh please please please get Sean. I would love Sean to come to a Showmasters event. He is soooo lovely and would be such a great guest.

Is there any chance of him coming over at all??

  7. I could kick myself for not going to meet some of the cast when they made an appearance at HMV in London.....so it would be nice to  get another chance at some of the other events!

I have to agree - more Firefly people please!

I was very lucky and did go to the HMV thing - but because Joss Whedon was there I was shaking really badly and couldn't speak! Then Nathan Fillion winked at me as he handed back my DVD and my knees almost gave way!

I'd love to meet Gina Torres, Sean Maher, Adam Baldwin... oh any of them really!
