The parking arrangements made me want to hurt people. Can't exactly blame Showmasters for the stadium owners deciding to dig the car park up, but it really was a mess. I ended up parked in the IKEA car park (I needed to go there anyway) after much driving round and round in circles.
This was my first time going in a looong time, and I had a fun morning toddling around having a look. Didn't buy any shiny trinkets, but whatever. Hopefully try and go again next time I think.

I have wallspace to fill with shiny things. I hope to find such things.
Plus I need to pop to Ikea. And a place in Bicester. so it's all kinda 'that way'.

That's a relief - I've not been to Collectormania since it was at the shopping centre, and was pondering going this time just for a look at the stalls. I'm not fussed about the meets, I just want to look at shiny things to buy...

I know for a fact most of the Futurama cast (Billy West, John DiMaggio Maurice LaMarche) do conventions and shows, so it'd be great to get at least one of those guys over.
Seth Macfarlane would be cool too!

My friends had tickets for the queue for Brian Blessed, somewhere in the 400s. They got there a bit before me, around 10am. We left at 12, and it was still around 150. They had to be somewhere else unfortunately so bailed on it. A shame really because they both really wanted to meet him, but hey, these things happen I guess.
