  1. This will be my 1st crewing this year, is there anything that I should and shouldn't bring like food or drink, what should I wear (I mean trousers) and footwear.

I am looking forward but a bit nervous too.

Bring... enthusiasm. ;) You don't have to bring food or drink. You'll get a crew handbook that gives you a good overview once you've been selected.

What should you wear... comfortable shoes. I learned that the hard way. There's no special guidelines with trousers. Show up with a decent pair of trousers that are not ripped in the wrong places and you'll be fine. Or if you prefer skirts that's not an issue either.

I normally wear jeans, combat trousers or cargo pants. The main thing is that you are comfortable.

  2. Media 10 have said that all guests have been announced now so it would be surprising if any more were announced.

Some of the actors may walk around while they are on a break but stopping them and asking for a free photograph or autograph is not allowed. Autographs are only done at the signing area. You may be able to get a free photo when you buy an autograph but this is not guaranteed. Otherwise you will have to pay for a professional one.

  3. It will be quieter than Saturday and Sunday but will still be busy. Most, if not all, of the dealers should be there and open for business.

Three photo shoots and three autographs is easily doable in the time available but recommend that you buy all your photo shoots in advance as the queues at the sales desk at the event are likely to be very long.

Also, if you want to see any of the big name guests on Friday, getting there early and prebooking your entry ticket will get you in quicker and allow you to get lower number VQ tickets.

  4. I think most of it has been covered so I only have a couple of things to add.

First, buy your entry tickets in advance. The same applies to any photo shoot tickets you want. It'll cut down the amount of time you'll spend queuing considerably. The link to the online shop is here: http://www.btowstore.com/epages/Store2_Shop1309.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/Store2.Shop1309/Categories/LFCC2014

Second, there will be a schedule of talks and photo shoots published on here a week to 10 days before the event. That will help you to plan your day or days. If possible, print off a copy to take with you. There will be copies up around the venue but if you have your own copy it makes things a bit easier.

  5. Three photo shoots is easily doable. If you find that you do have clashes though, go to the one with the earliest start time first and let the crew in that area know that you have another one to get to. If you have two starting at the same time, go to the one with the shortest time slot first and let the crew in that area know that you have another one to get to. They will then do their best to make sure you get to the other one on time.
