Thanks to everyone that crewed, you all did a great job. As SM have said the shows just won't happen without you guys.
Special thanks to the pit bosses, Chris, Donna, Sarah, Julie and Susan.
And thanks to the SMs for putting on the event.
Hope to see most of you in a couple of days time.

would that be ok with them if i just sent the DVD case with asking them first. also do they allow personal items to get signed through them (have only preordered photos from them in the past).
It will be fine, to put it through the website. We apologise for not being readily accessible as the last few weeks have been hectic.

Due to expansion of the company I am looking for staff.
So if you have retail sales, html, or online auction experience, please give me a call or email to discuss positions available.
Hours available to suit most people, for HTML or online auction positions you would need your own PC and online facility.

Hi there
we will be taking pre orders for this show. we had a delay in waiting for confirmed prices, plus it was our end of year time so that took a great deal of time to sort out.
I'll update the site sometime this week (hopefully)
Mick
Now updated!

Mick - can you please explain what you mean about breaching copyright? The preprints I have were ones sent out by the record company. I can sort of understand that by copying original photos and sigs may be breaching copyright but do people actually own copyright on their sigs.
Now don't take this the wrong way as it's nice to be able to buy sigs that you cannot get elsewhere but why are they so expensive?
Many celebrities no longer sign autographs because of the dealer market and trying to get a footballer to sign things nowadays isn't easy and some clubs specifically blame the dealers as do people like Ewan McGregor.
I understand that there is a difference between genuine dealers like yourselves and opportunists but for collectors like myself it is becoming near on impossible to afford it hence why in some instances I have gone down the preprint route just so I can display a framed item.
(I even sent Christopher Lee a letter telling him I wouldn't pay £80+ for his autograph - his agent sent me a nice letter back saying that they wouldn't stamp my photo - it was multiple signed as it might ruin it and that Mr Lee would send me an auto when he has time - I'm still waiting 2yrs later!!)
This sounds like a bitter post when I read it through but it isn't - it's a genuine set of questions which I feel you could answer.
Thanks, Darren
Hi Darren
This is the law as we read and and have been advised and I will state here without prejudice and will stand corrected if I am in error.
If a celebrity or otherwise signs an image for you and then you decide to sell it on then you are covered as the image is a carrier for the signature you are selling. If instead you decide to copy the image with the signature already in place, then the image is no longer a carrier but part of the whole thing, then you are potentially breaching the copyright of the owner of the original image.
This would be the same as copying what was already a preprint, as I would believe that the record company has sent you one image for yourself with no permission to sell it on.
Pre prints are frowned upon in the autograph market as there are some people out there that try to pass them off as real. Showmasters will not let them be sold at their shows.
Hope that helps

Preprints are not real signed photos and run the risk of breaching copyrights.
A genuine Justin Timberlake will cost between 30 to 60 pounds currently, we do not have any in stock at the moment.

I'm not sure if I can make it to Gmex now. I was wondering if the MSPG pre-order service lets you choose a photo? I suppose it can't be predicted as to what photos the guests will have?
Best thing is to give me a ring to discuss personal requirements.
Sometimes it is best to supply the exact photo you require signing as it avoids disappointment.
If you let me know what film you want I can possible make plans to obtain the images for you.

Hi,
Thanks...order number is 848.
Hi there
this refund was done as promised. It was done through the payment option as the refund link wasnt working properly and it looks as if I missed a bit off the email address (trying to type too fast). It is still sitting there waiting to be claimed.
I'll cancel that and see if the refund link is working now my apologies for the slip up.
Regards
Mick
Should now all be in order

I'm sorry to bring this up here, but I haven't been able to get any response from MSPG autographs whenever I email them...
Bascially, I pre-ordered a signed photo from a Collectormania 10 guest who then cancelled. When I got in touch with MSPG to check that I'd be getting a refund, all my emails were bounced back to me. I got in touch with them through their ebay account, and was told that the refunds would be done "this week" (that was on the third of this month).
Since then, nothing. No refund, and no further replies to messages sent to their site or ebay (though they're not being bounced back to me any more). Admittedly, I've not tried phoning them yet...but has anyone else been having this problem? Or has it been mentioned/explained somewhere else and I've not noticed?
Hi there
if you give me an order number or name to work with I'll look into it straight away.
As far as I am aware, all refunds that were due have been issued but as with all things some can slip the net.

A quick report.
Jeremy Bulloch and Dave Prowse signed all day and were quite busy. The UACC picked up a few more members which is great for the organisation.
A big thank you to all who supported the show.

Bring it on!
-
At the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, Heathrow, London entrance is only £2 if you are a UACC member, kids under 16 are free.
If you are not a UACC member then entrance is £3.
Dave Prowse and Jeremy Bulloch will be at the show signing for a fee.
All profits made at this show will go to the UACC. There will be all 4 European Directors at the show, all will be on hand to give advice during the day.
There will be dealer tables selling autographs ranging from Vintage to modern day.
Look forward to seeing you there.

That's very unlikely. You're much better off getting a picture you want before the show.
Anyone have an idea where would be a good place to get one - I usually go for the photos the guests have and as I'm going to be working all 3 days and hoping that someone could get the sig for me - unless I'm lucky enough to be able to slip off for 2 minutes I won't be able to buy one at CM10.
