does anyone know what the ibis is like?
i don't want to stay in a scary hotel
I stayed at the Ibis when I went to 'the Hub' con and have no complaints. We had a lovely room, they put on a decent breakfast, the staff were nice and friendly and we were able to store our suitcases there on the Sunday even though we had to check out on Sunday morning. The other big plus is that it's a 2 min walk to the Park Inn :)

THANK YOU Showmasters!! To all of the guests and crew you helped me have one of the best weekends ever.
All the crew were lovely, polite, willing to help out whenever you needed anything, and were just fabulous. From what I could tell, everything seemed to run smoothly and almost problem free, you can't really ask for more than that!
To all the attendees, thanks for 'being cool'!
And a big thank you to John, Gareth and Kai and the other guests for being so brilliant and giving us fans more than we ever could have hoped forThey definetly did that! Thank you so much to every guest.

Oh my gosh, Naoko was such a sweetheart! Although she may have got embarassed by it all, just how could you not 'awwwwwwwwww' whenever she spoke?!

Looks very dark in there for the second year running. Maybe some torches would be a good plan for people going on Sunday.
Actually it was A LOT brighter than last year, didn't even need my camera flash this time :)

How busy was J.Landis today?
It wasn't too bad at all, I got a ticket around 12pm and I was number 350(ish) but it was an open queue by 3.15 (after ticket #250) and that included him having his break/lunch between 12 and then. I think his talk is tomorrow too which might make the wait a little longer but it wasn't anywhere as bad as I expected it to be.
Number of free autographs
in The Hub 5

It's always been at the Hubs that you're able to get a free autograph from all of the guests attending unless they are a 'sponsored guest' (i.e James Marsters at hub 3). I'm not sure why they say a max. of 6 autographs unless that's a general rule of the cons and slightly altered depending on the specific event.
