    Hello there!! :WAVE:

     

    My name is Felicity and I'm from South England and I'm 18 in three weeks.

     

    My first taste of conventions was Collectormania MK 08' I think where I met James Masters and it just spiraled from there. I was only 14

    I went to The Hub 1,2 and 3 and met the five main cast members along with other amazing people! Some of the best days of my life so far were spent at Hub conventions.

    In between I went to this show and met Merlin cast and Gareth David Lloyd for what felt like the billionth time I think he knew my name by then.

    I was so crazy about Ianto Jones that when push came to shove after series three...I just couldn't do it anymore, he was my whole world and I couldn't bare Torchwood without him. I walked out of the end of Hub 3 knowing that that was the last time I'd ever see Gareth, nay a Hub convention ever again. I felt like Torchwood was the love of my life and it had died (I am an emotional teenage girl mind) And that was hard.

     

    Fairest to say I feel out of conventioning (new word I just invented >.>) after that and last year I became a big Jedward fan I've met the crazy twins 10 times and they know me.

    I also went to a Youtube gathering where I met Charlieissocoollike (Charlie McDonnell) who was just lovely.

     

    BUT I did finally go to a convention after Hub 3 I went to Entertainment and Media last year to meet David Tennant and it was epic! I definitely want to get back into cons they are the best places to be in the world, you can never feel more at home than how you do at a con.

     

    This month I finally got back into a TV Fandom: Sherlock. If there was hotel con or any con for that I'd be the first one there.

    At the last 'The Hub' Sat night was the main night, with the Torchwood skit, and all the 1940s gear and band singing. Not sure what the plan is this year though?

     

     

     

    Yeh i herd that the skit was being done again with Kai Gareth and Tom, it always worth seeing it was so hilarious last year! Hope this helps

    I bought Naoko a purple bracelet last year and she said she really loved it and I was so delighted so I bought Eve a necklace in the same style but in blue, its just my way of showing my appreciation, im not sure if I can get gareth anything I just dont understand the male mind!! lol

     

    For the Hub 1 Con, me and a few freinds gave Gareth the Blow Up sheep on the friday night as a laugh as we saw it it town and as gareth already know us from his gigs and know we was a little crazy, but in a good way thought it was funny.

     

    He liked the Sheep so much he even wore it on stage on the saturday for his talk with him and kia. xx

     

    So sometimes Guests do like the gifts and sometimes keep on.

    I have already bought my dress for saturday night and its insanely formal like something youd see a bond girl wearing so any hint of what the theme might be for that night?????

     

    I took it back coz I dont think its right now :o oh well i think i will go for something more partyish and some dead nice shoes...god I love shoes lol, your picture makes me boil with envy lol

    Iv met matt before and he is so lovley I know everyones gonna love him! I was so nervous at first too but I made so many friends and everyone was so kind. By the way do you know a guy who sometimes goes by the name waltmouse?

     

     

    I thought I recognised your username lol. Yes I know walt - you know one thing I haven't asked him - why wasn't he at The Hub!!!!! bad boy lol.

    If it is the same week as the Hub I just have a image of a deserted Hotel and all the rooms packed with people watching it:)

    lol I can actually imagine that yeh I herd spring then early march then middle of the year but id go with early march, i hope its on my birthday!

    and i agree about how nice people are, id like to say a big hello to the lady with the Pterodactyl with ribbon tied on it who told me where to go on the friday night to get my ticket and everything, and then we sat together in the bar and had a drink and she had to endure me very excitedly talking rubbish (as i am doing now)! i'd just like to say hello and thank you to her, who i didn't see after the first night, and who's name i cant remember but who made me feel very welcome and realy made the weekend start in a fantastic way!! so thanks and cheers and i hope your going to the Hub 2 :unsure: coz ill need someone to put the silver string bit on my pass together then too :D

    lol, I'm the lady with the Pterodactyl - thanks for all the lovely things you said, becuase I have issue with social anxiety and events like that with all those people get me scared and make me really quiet sometimes. The effort I made for The Hub was worth it though :) and I've already booked a Silver Pass for the next one lol. 'Cos with Matt Rippy going I simply couldn't not go lol.

    yes panicing way way way too early! they won't be mailed to 2 weeks before so don't panic till march
