Ah you'll always get the insane suggestions though, not much you can do about that unfortunately! Some people just ask a little too much
indeed they do, i think someone suggested robert pattison but i'm not sure i'ld have to check

hey guys
i apologies for this being so far off topic but i just think that ppl should be warned about this
okay the story is like this, Capri Skies, one of the biggest wedding dress stores in Glasgow is Fraking ppl over left right and center. there was a rumor on friday that the shop was going into Liquidation which resulted in the owners closing the shop on friday and they are now refusing to open the shop and let ppl get there money back or there dresses
Capri Skies have issued a press release saying that it's not going bust and that the shop was closed to "protect the Staff". but with the amount of bad press its received i can't see them opening up again
it is outrageous what they have done and it has left many in tears, Me and Susan have been caught by it and we now have 26 days for her to find a new dress and get it taken in to fit her (luckily we found the same dress somewhere else and everything should be fine) but there are girls getting married on Saturday that now have no dress and a week to do the impossible
if you know anyone that getting married i'ld give them a quick call or drop them an email to warn them about this, most ppl already know but there might be some who don't yet and it might be effecting them

but from the Firefly guests i'll be getting my photoshoot, the variant cover Those left Behind comic book of that guest and i've made up a canvas print of every FF member for my office, and if i can pick one up hopefully when i'm in San Diago next month

Hi all
Is there anyone traveling from Glasgow ? I am thinking of driving down( hate flying ) so if anyone is interested in going let me know. I will do all the driving but just looking for half the fuel costs. I would be leaving in the small hours of Saturday morning and traveling back about 11am on the sunday, Need to get back for work.

hey it's debatable if me and the wife will be going on the sunday
but if we are it'll be early, don't know if its allowed but if SM allow it i'll pick up a VQ ticket for ya and we can work out something like emailing me and i'll give you my number and you can phone me
but again really not sure if i'm coming sunday so it might be better to get one of the other guys that are defo going on sunday to do that

the guy was solid on the mic and the wwe need new announcers badly!!!
Vince has lost his marbles this time and its gonna cost him badly, now any superstar that gets injured is gonna be sitting thinking "oh god what if i get fired" and there gonna end up either rushing them selfs to get back to match fittnes or there gonna not tell the trainers and prob end up in a worse state
look at Umaga, the dude did exactly the same thing as Kennedy, took a bad injury, had about 6 months off came back for one match and messed up his leg, the guys must now be thinking "better not hurt myself" when he's going into a strap match
i know Ken didn't have the best in ring skill but the guy could cut a promo better than anyone in the company
i expect him to be on TNA after his 90 day clause is up and he's had a chance to heal up a bit

you guys are complaining about how out of the way this is and how hard it's going to be to get to the stadium, any of you tried to get the the glasgow event?
i'm assuming that MK is a small enough place that it has atleast 5-6 busses that go to the stadium or atleast near enough, possibly a train station close by aswell
Glasgow has 3 busses that go from the City Center to the Event!!!! we have never complained once, in fact i personally went along and worked out where the fans could get these busses, told them where to get off, told them how to get to the buss stop from the train and bus station because i know from working in the center how much of a nightmare it can be to get there if you don't know it
SM moved this event, there FLAGSHIP event as everyone calls it to this big stadium so they could get more guests, more dealers and make it a much more exciting day out for all of us
and all you eegits are doing is complaining about not being able to get there, when there offering a FREE bus service?!

to be fair firefly got the movie first because it deserved the movie, Buffy and Angel have solid enough endings that you could be very happy with but FF just stops and the story needed an ending
and i assumed this would be the response, i'm sure David will agree with me when i say its a "Ric Flair" conundrum, every one is saying there not gonna watch it and boycot it but you all know your gonna go and see it anyway
i hope its a story of an older Slayer or maybe even some of the series 8 story, but think about some of the things that have been re-vamped recently, i can think of probably 3 (Batman, Starsky and Hutch and Star Trek) that are good and the big pile that have failed to deliver
another thing to remember is that this is gettng made so that the Kazuis can keep the rights and make more money, considering that Buffy is FOX these two things make for a disaster, for a great example see the 1994 Fantastic 4 movie

i think it could work, some of the best episodes arn't written by joss, he ust came up with the basic story and characters, if its a complete rebot then its all things go and a clean slate for anyone to come in
as much as joss rock's, he is a pain in the neck with deadlines these days, nearly every comic he's writing gets put back a month
i think joss got the best out of the story but it was getting very repetitive after a while, i say give it to a previous slayer with maybe some one like Kelley Armstrong writing it, or even Amber Benson she's wrote a story for the slayer Chronicles book
it'll be interesting to see what happens within the next few months

hey guys, being trying to stay off the boards a bit but when i saw this i HAD to share it with yall
i do like the idea of seeing another movie, but not with SMG and the Scoobies as it would possibly mess up all the good things about the show, (i'm thinking newer episodes of red dwarf)
but i did like the bit about it possibly being a newer generation of slayer, like possibloe the ones from before buffy
but the boss not even getting involved at this point is worrying
what you guys think

I never used to but I live with a geek who collects comics mainly Marvel and DC therefore I when bored end up reading them and find myself becoming obbessed kind, buffy and the joker I am sorry however big of a buffy fan I am it'd be the Joker hands down.
oh i know Mr J would win but it would be a spectacle, he would destroy her and the scoobies, its the one thing Buffy never had was a full blown Psycho

in a straight fight Batman
we get asked alot about Batman V Superman and we all agree that it would be Batman for one simple reason
he would cheat. Batman uses what ever he can to beat his opponents and is ten times the strategist as Buffy and the Scoobies, he'ld do something harsh and attack her emotions or play on her ego and just refuse to fight her and let her get frustrated
with the Scoobies, hands down Buffy, even if Batman had help it'ld be Buffy, the Scoobies are her best power but would be no affect against Wolverine
you want a good fight try Buffy v The Joker, but none of you read comics so i'll just shut up now

to be fair i do have 8 guys who are just as uber geek as me (7of whom work in a comic book shop and one is a historian and can research the shop for info) and between the 9 of us we pretty much know everything, we are a true unbeatable pub quiz team
but if you think that is impressive i should warn you that we all hate Wolverine, some with a passion
if you posted about any other comic book hero the rant would have filled several pages

would be about affective as throwing a snapper at a bus, Adamantium is the second strongest metal in the marvel universe, the first being Vibranium(which is now extinct, with the exception of Captain Americas shield), only something made of those could do any damage to his skeleton
but seeing as to mould the adamandtium into a weapon you'ld have to have it in ore form to make liquid form and seein as you need it to be at 815 Celsius and you only have an 8 minute time frame to make a weapon from that..........
if it where possible to pull Wolverine Limb from Limb and store them separately, he would still regenerate from the heart/head (i'm unsure and have asked my think tank and we cant come up with which, and i'm talking about 6 comic book mad freaks), but we did come up with a case of Wolverine before he got his Skeleton pimped out, he was held in a torture camp during WW2 and was beheaded daily and he kept on coming back, its never said if he just grew another head or if they put his head back on his body and it fused back but it happened and he survived, another case is when he re-grew completely from a single cell
but we came up with the only way to kill him, The Muramasa Blade, wich is a magically infused blade capable of cutting his head of and negating his healing factor, the catch 22 is only he knows where it is?

My friend asked about the Wolverine vs Buffy whether Buffy is the combined one from the end of Season 4- cos then she could just pull out wolverine's internal organs(would he still regenerate then?). Interesting point. What do you think Yeindeed?
its a fair point, but yes he would still regenerate, i'm sure it has happened before (roughly remember him being operated on whilst awake, but my heads drawing a blank to when)
it all depends, his regeneration speed changes depending on the writer or x-men series
again struggling to remember but i'm fairly sure the only person that has the power to stop him would be Jean Grey and she would have to concentrate on stopping his heart and brain from functioning, think claire from heroes
but if she gets help, then i would suggest wolvie gets some back up of equal strength, eg, Dr Strange, Wong, Whislter (from Blade), and wolvie would still win
but yeah Wolverine would still kick Buffy's ass, sorry
a fairer fight would be Buffy v Blade, same power, same strength, same speed and same backup almost, Blade has, Whistler(giles) , Hannibal King(Xander), Morbious (spike/angel), Dr Strange (Willow/Tara) and a few others equally to some of the other scoobies
i would maybe sway the scale toward Buffy, but unless you have read blade and/or the nightstalkers you'll all say buffy anyway
