jeez i haven't been on this section in a while and now i've came on and noticed the great guest line up so far

anyway i was just wondering how well the tickets are seeling? are there many gold and silver left?
i ask because i'm still unsure of money but should know by the end of the month, is there much chance of g/s tickets by then?

Without sounding harsh as f**k but like "grateful"? I am happy but at the end of the day we're the one's who spent hudreds of pounds making the first event a success, and im pretty sure they're not gonna be outta pocket on this, they're a business NOT a charity.
And it's not like people are goingon about it "everytime" it's just a bit harsh for everyone who was hoping for a north con, and I really really struggle to believe it was impossible to not find a single hotel in glasgow/edinburgh/newcastle/manchester/liverpool/sunderland/middlesbourgh/preston/leeds/blackpool/darlington/etc etc that didnt have a venue.
And they dont just get "grief" infact they get a lot of people who totally suck a rse and don't want to rock the boat in the slightest, I wasn't aware this wasn't a site where you couldn't express a grievience regarding an event.

So, looking at the young guys in the WWE, who do we think will be future World Champions and who will just Fail
Thwagger (Swagger) - i think this guy will be amazing in a few years, ECW gave him a taste of the light and stage, and he showed us he's got the talent in ring to be World Champion but i think now after the trade he's going to learn allot from the Vets and can only improve
MVP - if they drop the Gimmick and just did him as normal he could be good, i don't like him myself but i can see him being big
Di Biase - again not a fan but vince will no doubt ram him down our throats and he'll either not handle it and end up out of the company or mid card for most of his career like Regal
Cody - i'ld love to see him in story's like his dad, he's not got the size but i think he could be a working class hero type and after a good few years get his hands on the big gold, the beauty is that he's so damn young the world is at his feet
Miz - will go to announcing or presenting, he's not got the ring skills
Morrison - i don't need to say it we can all see it...............Shawn Michales
Colons - Carlito has got some skill but not main event and Primo i can't see lasting another draft
Benjamin - if i where him i'ld be looking at my contract and thinking about leaving, the guy is too good to be mid card, i can see him going elsewhere and being big
so what you guys think?

i did hear this, if it was a story line it would have been fine but it was because they did like press realeases and stuff like sending it to news networks that they got in trouble
but they could have got around it easily, its just like the Kennedy Estate in america, it valued at over 4 million or something probably more but it last sold for......$1 to keep it in the family, if vince sold it to trump for $1 it would have been fine too

Id rather see The Miz get his shot than seeing Batista again, or HHH again, or Show again or John Hogan again blah blah blah. Im not saying the Miz is a good wrestler but at least hes different from the usual crap. Nice to see the Trump angle already appears to have died on its ass, wonder how much that was down to the shares dropping cause nobody 'got' what was going on.
Personally i think the WWE and TNA are competing for the stupiest booking on a week by week basis. WWE would win had it not been for Joe handing the belt to Kurt which itself was only slightly less stupid than saying his mission was to 'kill' Kurt in the first place.
is it possible that you just hate Cena so much you can't see how bad the Miz is
there is a reason why HHH, Orton and Cena always have the belt, they can pull it off or can atleast rely on there opponent to carry them
look at Cena, he's not a Wrestler, but his mic skills are great and he can work a crowd better than anyone, you put him with HHH, Orton or Edge and he's in safe hands, you put him with Batista who isn't the best in the ring and sure enough they end up messing up and hurting each other
Miz is as bad as cena in ring and isn't great on the mic, he can't headline!
i would rather watch HHH v Orton for the millionth time than watch one of them carry a guy who isn't good enough
if Miz was on SD i would prob be pushing him for an IC shoot and give him a chance, what they are doing is the same thing as Koslov, shoving him down our throats and just throwing him in with the main event when he isn't ready!!
i really hoped they would have dropped his story by now just like they did with TBK, they could have put them together but the messed that up

I'm a girl and I haven't seen or read twilight!!! And don't really have any urge to...Should I? I'm really put off by the insane reaction to it! And if they came to the con, I'd be proper scared of all the screaming teenagers!! heheh
its good, the first one is esentially wethering hights but with vampires and the second is Romeo and Juliet but with vampires and werewolfs
but the Screaming teens i can't and wont stand for, they nearly killed Robert Pattison last week they are that bad

okay i just found out something, 29th-30th of august is also Retroest in Glasgow
this is going to mess up hotels in the city center and east side
the line up looks like t-in the park for housewives, Bay City Rollers, Shawaddywaddy, East 17, Rick Astly.....
if you want hotels i'ld search the west and south end of the city or the airport, and also check Paisley

And all of this is no doubt a debate they're having within their own organisation, as I know they don't give up lightly.
It's the same reason why guest cancellations can often take a little while to filter through before being announced. The truth is that they explore every possible avenue for working around a situation before finally saying that it's not doable.
Of course this is even trickier because it's a whole event, and it's a huge decision to make to cancel it. So if they're spending their time trying to find out a viable way to carry this on in some form, I guess I'd rather be patient and wait for news.
i'm sticking with David on this one, its hard but be patient
its like the Ents from lord of the rings, don't say anything unless its really worth saying and i'm sure SM and ME are looking at every road they could go down and how possible they each are

Look, someone said 90 tickets had been sold? What's a ticket, £100? So that's £9000. Now, I've never been to a 'show specific' convention of SM's as it happens, but if that's right, surely this isn't enough to support it financially??
sorry mate but £9000 will get you the venue and the rooms for the crew (i don't know if you guys get pt up for the night or not)
but i've been told that some of the bigger guests are close to £30,000 for appearances, that includes flights and accommodation and meals (did not hear this from SM but from another organizer, and the guest was prob on par with michael)

of all the time i've been on the board i've only seen jason cancel one event, i've seen him run events where he can only make a loss and i've seen him take stick from dealers about the poor turn outs and then 5 minutes later those dealers renewing tables for the next show
if i was going to put money on it i'ld say its going to go ahead
