  1. People have been posting in this thread here: http://showmastersonline.com/forums/index....4571&st=220 when they received their photos or saying they were still waiting. :YAHOO:

The last "I got it" post is from today, so looks like there's still some pictures on their way.

When did you send the first e-mail identifying yourself?

I only got mine on Saturday and sent the e-mail like 4 hours after the photos went up, but I'm in Germany so of course that time has to be taken with a grain of salt.

    Hi Queen.

My first email that I sent was as soon as it came on the forum. This was as soon as they announced it on the forum.I do live in England by the way and only about a 1hr drive near London.

  2. Is anyone else out there waiting for there £30 photo.

As I have sent 5 emails at the most to collectomania of my number and my description but still nothing.

I am getting tired of asking as I shouldn't really have to.

Had a great day meeting all of the guest's until getting told to fill out a form of your details and they willl send out your pic.

Then being told that they have setup a link with your photo on it so you can email them (See above).

Well i'm still waiting and am getting very frustrated with all this hassle thinking that queing on that day of meeting milo/adrian (don't bother with autographs) for 10 seconds at the most was a waste of time.Especially putting £30 down 4 this as well.

Please can other's reply if they have not received there's yet so I know that im not the only one..

  3. Having written out my details and seeing my pic on your forum (emailing my details over to you).I would have thought that I would have received my photo by now.

    But no........

    WHERE IS IT.

What's worse is my girlfriend (lives in the same place as me ) has got hers.

    Where's mine...

Is any one else waiting for there's still.

  4. It's very crazy :chair: I'm writing what you were thinking sunday evening, et and what you are writing today is what i was thinking sunday evening :o:angry:

On sunday, I was completely tired and had to queue the last 2 hours alone which was very boring. I barely could see Hayden and had the feeling I paid £40 for nothing, so I was not really in good mood. Two days later, having put things in perspective, I see things a bit differently but I still agree with you that too many autographs were handled and too many photo sessions were done. This was not good for the attendees nor for the guests. but this is my opinion and if others think differently, fair enough. I have no time anymore to start online fights here.

Looking forward to the next event hoping that Showmasters will correct a few things is the best I can do .... oh no wait, I should work, that should be better :D

    maybe
  5. Hello.

Thank you for your confirmation.I do feel that you should have sent this out a bit earlier, then it would have caused less posts (complaints) on your forum.I will praise you (and i'm sure others will) when I receive my photo and it is in mint condition ie...photo taken properly.

If there is a next time (god hope not) please try and organise it a bit better.

Have a look at my post (milo-adrian where r they)at all the reviews that I have got back.Even people have disagreed with some of my comments but they do make sense.

  6. Just got back from a loooong weekend and i enjoyed Saturday, met Andee, Nana and Billy West.

Sunday: What was the point in EARLY BIRD tickets because it was a stampede of people, Early people should get priority. Anyway the venue was too dark the queing system was not as good as other events.

    Meeting the cast was great.

Could have been better but i enjoyed+survived the expereince which i will never forget but what REALLLY got me PISSED off was that my Hayden Photo was LOST and had to be printed again at 5pm, i wanted it signed but got other stuff signed as well.

I rest my case about them taking photo's, I rather I get my girlfriend to do it as I can trust her.(Not other people who don't know how to take pics or operate the camera,.
  7. I have never bought to get a pic with until 2day.It would have been easier and quicker if I did it myself (other autographer hunters as well).

If you want a pro pic with your favourite movie star, then fair enough buy one for £20.But if some people wanted to get there pic over the desk ,then they should have let them. This would have cut down the q for pro pics and they would have more time to sign for people later on.But all the organisers care is that they get there money at the end of the day.

They only got up to about 600! If they were allowing photos over the desk they would only have got to about 200. That's not money grabbing, that's wanting everyone to see them.

Not everyone is bothered......about pics...........and that good 2hrs of the doing the photo op could have got more then 600 in.

Maybe you should be given a choice, autograph or pic with. That would be less hassle. It's quicker to take a pic then sign a autograph.

What do you mean, not everyone is bothered about pics? Evidently everyone wanted photos becaue the queue was absolutely huge, which you would know if you were there. Given the choice, the majority of people would want a desk photo AND still buy the photo, which is just going to make it even worse for those with higher numbers. 10000000x more hassle.

Everyone was there for a photo because you wasn't allowed to even take a single shot of them.I bet the majority of some woud not have gone for the photo call if they allowed the desk option.I
  8. A friend we met at LFACC today said they'd met Kenny this morning, but that he didn't look very well.

I need to get him soon though, I need him to go with Anthony Daniels on the classic 3PO with his hand on R2's head.

I all agree with all your comments..He is old though.

But what really shocked me is, he is in a wheel chair now so lets hope he can get better.

  9. They prob wont be online they will just get posted out, even tho we had to stand like soliders i wana see how mine came out.

No, they cant be posted out.,.. I went to the photo booth just after 5 and was told that they will be put on the website, and you select your photo and fill in your address...

I never gave anyone my address, so no one would know where to post it to for me (or any of the people that were there with me at the time!)

We were just told to keep checking the website for an update!!

We had got told the same story....

  11. Personally I didn't get any photo shoots with any guests (I'm more an autograph guy), but it sounds like this was a bit of a rush.

To be fair to Showmasters, I doubt they could print everyones pictures out on the day for them anyway.

I do sympathize with people however who feel somewhat disappointed in the organization of these shoots, I guess that Showmasters really didn't anticipate just how high the demand would be.

I feel sorry for the lady with the 5 year old, who caught the guys in a tired mood. I think Showmasters should have maybe limited the amount of tickets for this, as it sounds like they got the guests to do too many, causing detriment to photo quality.

Very true mate. But they did get everything else printed apart from Milo>Adrian, which is why they should have done it eariler. They looked really unhappy doing it (tiredness I expect) as the organiser's pushed more tickets.

  12. Come on everybody..Put your request's here and hopefully we would get a reply soon from the collectomania team to say when we will be geting them.

    where's our photos

Nice of them to take our money easy, but what do we get in return (the term wait comes to mind).

  13. I have never bought to get a pic with until 2day.It would have been easier and quicker if I did it myself (other autographer hunters as well).

After giving you people £30 and trusting you with our bags(you all know what i'm talking about).

Then queuing for about an hour and then getting the photo with (30 seconds in and out). You get given a piece of paper (not big enough to wipe my a*** on).I then get told that you have to fill in a form in with all your (personel) details and we will send the photo as quick as possible.I felt that they should have done the photo op earlier as this would not have caused any problems for us and yourself's.

Now I have to prey that no one looks like me in my descriptive details on the form as I might get there photo of them and they might get mine.

When I arrived on Sat morning I asked if I can get a photo ticket for Sunday (Milo)but got told that they would only be selling them on that day. .But on the forum someone said that they were selling the tickets in the afternoon.

So I came down here really early to get a ticket as there (supposbly)was ltd supply.(They were still supplying tickets from 2.00p.m.)

Please next time if you get a late guest give out your tickets on that day as I panicked thinking that I woudn't get one.

I will be happy when I get my photo but this needs to be organised better next time.

The place was poor lighting as it felt like I was in the the lost boys lair (the cave).+ all the organisers cared about was that people wasn't causing any health and safety issues in there, when clearly this should have been sorted out before anyone was let in.

    Regards

  15. hello everybody.

This is one person that will not be in her q.

As i met her in 2000.

She has a lovely autograph and is very polite but looking very craggy (god knows what she looks like now).

I have a photo with her (look out lads, she pinched my bum).Good luck to the people that are going to meet her though as she really is a great guest for bond fans.
