  1. I'm gutted - really wanted to go this as I'm not able to go to E2, but as seems a trend at the moment, Showmasters/Massive Events have announced this when there is already another event ,which was announced months ago, which I have already bought tickets for

This is the fourth time this has happened - I had to miss both Eclipse 1 and Eclipse 2 too  Collectormania London is another one I really want to go to, but am going to find it tough to find the time to make it because I'm already going to another event. It is really starting to suck!

  2.

I don't mean to be rude, but other convention organisers seem to manage to be able to do one on one photo shoots with all their guests - even when they have more than the six which you seem to have set as your limit.

When I booked my ticket, nowhere said there would be a limited amount of individual shoots that I would be able to get - it clearly stated that I, as a silver ticket holder, would be able to get one individual photo shoot with each and every guest doing a photo shoot. 10 guests are doing a photo shoot on Saturday, so silver and gold ticket holders should be entitled to an individual photo shoot with each of these 10 guests.

This is my first Massive Event and I'm very disappointed as you seem to be trying to change the terms of what is included within the tickets. I understand that that their may be timing constraints, but this should have been made clear when people were booking tickets.

Gem other events have the auto sessions go on into the evening when they over run and have guests working well past the time they were supposed to and the running time is never on time

we have not have this at the events we run, THAY RUN ON TIME and every one get what we say they will get and the guests are not worked so have we get them back again this is all important

yes we could TRY to get lots more photo ops in and other things in but it means it is more likly not to work out well for the fans or the guests on the day, but we could make more money out of it but thats not what we are here for

we are not the same as other events we do the events how we do them and we take a lot of time working it all out

so please look at what we are doing right and give the weekend a chance

    jason

I am happy to give the weekend a chance, and am quite looking forward to it...I understand that your events are different to others, but I am a little confused as to how other events can provide individual photo shoots with each guests and autos from the guests - but you can;t and how this works out better for the fans?

I do believe it is unfair that one thing has been stated and then in this thread you, as the organiser, is stating something different. Even at the very beginning of this thread you state that silver ticket holders will get a photo with every guest. As an attendee, this disappoints me as when I book an event, I take what is said when I'm booking to be what I'm getting - not something that is said the night before on a message board.

I'm not saying this because I'm money grabbing and I want more for my money etc as has been suggested - I will happliy have the amount of photo shoots provided, but as stated above I do believe this is unfair.

I'm not trying to cause problems - I'm just offering an opinion, and hopefully situations like this will not happen at future events.

  3. There is not the time for every gold and silver pass to have a one on one photo shoot with every guest.

Thats why we only ever plan to have around 4 to 6 photo shoots with 1 guest as this can be done

there is not going to be anymore than 6 1 to 1 shoots i am sorry you just cannot do this there is not the time

if we only had 6 guest then there would not be this problum but we try to get you all as many guests as we can to the event to make it as much fun as we can

now we know what we have said and we know what we mean, but i do think people are twisting what we say and they are starting to be a little unfair.

we did get the big names to attend this event, and we have put a lot into this con to make it a great expirance for you

so lets all move on and lets all look forward to the event

  4. not every guest is doing a single photo shoots

every silver ticket holders will get one photo shoot form every guest taking part in a single photo shoots

we have 6 single photo shoots so you will get 6 photo with 6 guests

i hope this clears this up

as to the gold pass ticket holders they will get 6 photos shoots with 6 guests and 1 group shot with the guests taking part in the group shot shoot

i hope this clears it up for every one

    see you all there

    jason

"shot shoot"what dose this all mean ? it will be all over soon

The website states that when you buy a silver ticket, you get a photo with each guest doing a photo shoot - but you are now saying that this is not the case and only applies to the guests doing single photo shoots.

Also - on the first page of this thread Showmasters posted that silver ticket holders would get a photo with all guests - once again no mention that this had to be in an individual shoot.

Don't you think this is a bit unfair to people who bought a silver ticket, under the impression they would get a photo with each guest doing a photo shoot as it wasn't mentioned anywhere that this had to be an individual shot?

  5. If a guest is not down to do an individual shoot then I am not sure why anyone would expect one.

The group photo is completely different .

I am sure SM will clarify matters but the schedule has the list of those taking part in photo shoots.

The website doesn't say they have to be down to do a individual photo shoot, it just says they have to be doing a photo shoot - and al guests are doing the group. The group is a photo shoot and as such, under the terms on the website, means silver and gold ticket holders should get photos with all guests who will be in that group photo....

  6. Nope you get one photo session free with each guest that is actually taking part in an individual photo session.

So there may be people in the group shoot who aren't taking part in individual photo sessions and you aren't therefore entitled to have a photo individually with them.

But my inner lawyer concedes that Showmasters terms and conditions could do with a little work - these questions tend to pop up a lot at the events - the terms need to be absolutely crystal clear with no room for interpretation - protects you and us that way!

I agree - it does need clearing up a little and probably should be done for the next event. This event however does state that silver ticket holders are entitled to one photo with each guest taking part in a photo session and all guests are taking part in a photo session and it does not state anywhere that these photo sessions have to be individual.

I assumed that I would be getting a photo with each guest as they are all taking part in a photo session, and that's what I paid for when I booked my silver ticket - if I thought I was not getting a photo with each guest I would have got a standard ticket instead - I do hope I will be getting what I paid for when I attend this event as its not the ticket holders fault if the terms and conditions are not worded correctly.

  7. I've asked this question many a time - I understand that silver ticket holders get one photo shoot with each guest therefore 10 photos in all. Can someone confirm?

I was wondering this as well. All the guests, including the surprise guests are taking part in a photo shoot, so even if one of those sessions is a group, I thought I would be getting a photo with each guest. The website states that you will get a photo with each guest taking part in a photo session and all guests are in the group, so silver and gold ticket holders should get an individual photo with all guests (and gold obviously get the group as well).

Can someone just confirm if this is correct?
