Well, thats what problem me and hayley had, in the end we just did the jazz splits where u have ur front leg straight but we bent our back leg, it still looked pretty cool!
just stretch every day and eventually u will go straight down! but dnt stop practising otherwise u will have to start from scratch

yep just keep practising and sit out with one leg in front of you and try and touch your head with your knee if u get me
