    Fox Hunting

    I'm probably going to be hated for this but I am pro hunting. I spent years enjoying falconry and hunting with my buzzard. What people miss is the bigger picture.

     

    If fox hunting is banned, then the sabs will direct their interest at another form of hunting too. In my case when I fly a bird to hunt a rabbit I am teaching it whats natural for it, we trained lots of barn owls at the centre I worked at for release into the wild. It would cripple the bird of prey population if it was banned. And all you lads who like fishing... well that would be highly likely to be next on their list for banning....

     

    Also foxes are still around because of fox hunting... The hunt doesn't always catch the fox and doesn't kill enough to make the species extinct. If it was banned the farmers would want rid of the pests and lay poisons and traps which are less humane, when a pack of dogs catch a fox, it dies within seconds, poison means a slow painful death, trapped animals can lie for days starving to death with a broken neck or leg. If farmers did this it would also render the entire species nearly extinct and we'd only be seeing foxes in zoo's.

     

    Anyway.. that's my say, hate me if you wish but I have valid points over the cute iccle foxey woxeys..

    Why would anyone hate you hunni, your entitled to your opinion and your points are just as valid as anybody elses.

     

    I have to say its a nice change to have a debate on here without people being nasty about it.

    OMG Shush!

     

    I've bought a few things for my eldest daughter and some gifts for a few friends off here but other than that nothing. I may put the tree up in a week or two if I get the energy...
