She's an awesome person. I never met her but on the GoT commentaries everyone talks about how smiley and lovely she is. Wish I could have got a photo/auto! Just wanted to chill this year though.

I'm gonna edit this post - security guard who said an hour and a half was a bosom.
Took us 40mins at most and I wasn't even counting.
They're letting people in one batch at time.
It's REALLY hot upstairs - but altogether it's no worse than last year IMO.
Hopefully it'll be less packed tomorrow. I decided to go just Sunday this year because Saturday was really bad for me.

I've not seen anything from SM on Twitter. There are thousands of people attending though, it's unrealistic to expect to turn up when doors open and get straight in - it's natural there'll be a queue!
Or put this way - no-one turns up for 7:30pm music concert at the O2 at 7:30pm. You get there before so you know you can get in with the thousands of others, get a drink, nip to the loo, etc. Same thing here.
There are people waiting 20 minutes just to get up and down the stairs... They're already in it's just overbooked. JP said it was someone on twitter who said they're turning people away, not SM themselves.

It wasn't Showmasters who tweeted it, it was someone in the queue. Hopefully they've got it wrong
Hope so, cause that'd be a joke if so. Sounds like they oversold the show yet again if this is the case.

Me also! I thought the queueing system was meant to have improved?? It's looking like a right farce!!!
The second day usually ends up a bit better. I went on both Saturday and Sunday last year and Saturday was god awful but Sunday was perfect. Less people and better organised. It's like the Saturday is the test day. :/

Not all ecigs have nicotine. They have grades of it to ween you off nicotine. Not that I'm dismissing your claims (I don't smoke either, never have) but to declare they are 100% spreading nicotine is a bit misleading.
Besides the nicotine isn't the deadly thing in cigs, it's the tar etc.

I really hope she comes again. I couldn't get an auto or photo with her but was hoping to see her in the screening/Sunday talk which she didn't attend. I then considered getting her autograph but at 5:30ish I couldn't see her and thought she had left or was doing photos so no chance, then found out she came back just after we left.
I was unlucky but hopefully she'll be back next year. I'm going to bring something to get signed as well.A question though, is it possible to get things signed in a different colour to black? My original plan was to bring my GoT box sets to get signed but they're black. I saw some gold signed things and I'm wondering if I could have got them signed with gold marker?

Was a tad disappointed by the Game Of Thrones panel just because I was hoping for Lena Headley.
This is the talk I'm guessing? I'm sure they advertised her for it?
Yes. It was a paid talk (£20) so I was hoping she would be on the panel but sadly not.
I'm not sure that they ever actually announced who was doing the talks. I had no idea who was doing the Star Trek and Doctor Who panels until they turned up on stage.

Yep, her and Kate Dickie weren't at the talk.

Agree with everything here and I too was disappointed Lena couldn't make any of the talks/screening. Not that I blame her or anything! I know she was super busy and I reckon everyone who wanted Natalie Dormer's autograph all decided to swap to Lena since her photoshoot was sold out.

I was gutted about the piñata being the special guest, I actually thought it was a joke and they were creating suspense, and also the host has serious right side bias as he kept picking people to answer questions and win prizes from the right side. He also did this during the talk today I noticed. Did anyone notice Sibel Kekilli was getting a bit annoyed during the talk with him as well?
Also why was Lena not at the talk today? She was advertised as being there? Was she just really busy? I know her photoshoot sold out and guests are subject to change but it was disappointing as I never got to see her.

Honestly, I found it hard to hear mostly but I think he was just a bit rude to her? She looked shocked at one point because I think she didn't understand a question (she's foreign and as I said it was hard to hear anyway) and then afterwards she didn't have a lot of enthusiasm in her answers because she seemed fed up.

Stupid quest but erm, where's the artist alley? I didn't see any of the events that were meant to be happening for the artist alley (I was where the comic section is). Did they just all happen really early and I missed them all?
Also, it says there's meant to be a BJD (ball-jointed doll) display, but again I didn't see it. :< And there was meant to be a talk on them too which I wanted to see since I collect them. I'm going again tomorrow so want to know if these things are there and where and what time they generally happen, since they're not big enough to be announced on the schedule.

Yeah, I was gutted about this too. I kinda felt we were misled about the purchase. Also, couldn't they have changed the episode to be more relevant to the actors they had? Also, why no Bluray? ;P
I am wondering if maybe it was Peter Dinklage but he cancelled last minute, just because of the episode they picked for the screening and all. Would have been nice for Lena to be there too.

Awww no. Though I'll be honest, I wanted to get him to sign the Season 4 Blu Ray which obviously won't be out till next year, hopefully he'll be able to attend them.

They just announced when they're filming the new Sherlock special and next series too! I'd love to see Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. I actually really loved Freeman in Fargo as well. :)

Any tickets for paid talks or photoshoots that did not sell out online will be on sale at the show from Friday opening onwards. Be aware that with the popularity of the event this year many are likely to sell out at the show.
That gives me my answer! Thanks! :) I thought that was the case but wanted to be sure.

D'oh, for some reason I thought you could purchase autographs online?
And is it possible to buy talk tickets on the day still? Since it's too late to order them now. Was indecisive on which talk I wanted for the GoT also, Sunday or Saturday, since I'm going both days! Yep, I'm terrible.
