I know being into cosplay myself that I saw more Saturday than Sunday, and I was going to say, he could have a photo with me as Harley Quinn if he wanted, but I'm going Saturday only. Hope he enjoys it, regardless of his age.

If I remember correctly the Goonies double shoot last year was only announced on the Friday before the show.
It was. Because I had bought solo shoots and when that was announced begged hubby to let me order a double shoot. LOL

Oh! Well that's me on my own way now!!! Lol

I will say what I always do....Braehead is the best and most convenient place, without it, I wouldn't get a mobility scooter on hire at the location and easy access to food places. Yes, it can be a little cramped, but they move to SECC and even more people will attend thus likely making it just as cramped! I for one am glad it's STILL at Braehead for 2017!

He was so nice!

Really enjoyed meeting James! He was SO nice and loved hearing the story about the smoking jacket he hated!

Just booked the duo shoot anyway. Thank goodness for plastic money. It will take a while to pay this back however. LOL! I've marked the duo shoot down for 5pm thanks for giving me the time, but I will take a pen to mark any changes that there might be.

I was always going Sunday, but had I known they would have considered a joint shoot, I'd have asked for Sunday....as it happens it is Sunday and I already booked solo shoots.

I've already purchased solo shoots for Sunday, but would have loved this! Bummer for late announcement! Lol
-
Yeah! Announcing AFTER people have bought solo shoots and can't afford the duo!!!! Typical!

Im so excited !!Awesome!!!! I have been waiting to meet him for YEARS!!! Thank you showmasters!
Me too!!!! I just hope I'm okay on the day as I've been poorly most of this year. Sunday can't come quick enough!!

Yeah. I guess some just don't care really, or they don't hear or are choosing not to hear! I'm there for 10am on Sunday, so will try get all my autos then, and hopefully save queues. It's just frustrating to try and move a mobility scooter very slowly when in a queue. I actually bumped into a guest's table last year for the same reason. Lol

It's not really that big an arena and all the dealer stalls take up most of the room. I had to keep yelling excuse me to try and get past people.
I have that as an able-bodied person as well wherever I am have the issue of people not wanting to move but have just got to perserve and say excuse me till they move. Now where did i put the pitchfork?
I'm scared I will knock people down. Then again, maybe that's what I should do. Haha. Honk the horn.... ;-)

Yes, I think that's definitely true. That's what I'll do and hopefully won't get caught up in any queues. :)

I've got the early bird for Sunday, gives me an hour before the standards arrive. Usually I'd go to the stalls then, but might do the autos first instead. I love Braehead for access to food places etc., but it is getting small for the amount of people attending now.

If I didn't have to use a scooter, I'd have no issue with it. But I was on a scooter last year and believe me, moving round the hall was a nightmare. Hopefully I'll catch autos early and avoid the queues! Seems like the best option to me.

Must get this!

The VQ tickets mean you don't have to stay in the crowds. You get your ticket which is essentially your place in the queue. You can then go away and do other things and keep checking the board at the end of the queue where the numbers are displayed to see if yours has come up. Once it has, you can then join the normal queue which shouldn't take too long to get through, depending on how fast the guest signs.
What about disabled people like me? I'll be on a mobility scooter and really, the quicker I get through the queue the better as its murder trying to move a scooter when the crowds are thick....How do VQ work? I haven't been to a event using it yet
You go up to the end of the queue and you're given a slip with the guest's name and a number on it & you come back when your number is up on the board, e.g. if you're given number 256 for Sean Astin, you'd go back when Sean's board is showing 1 - 260. :-)
Again, I can't keep circling around on a mobility scooter as its too pandemic in the hall to do that! I had that trouble last year. It took over thirty minutes to get from the hall entrance to one signing table. If that's how it's gonna be, I'll be giving autos a swerve sadly. It would be better for disabled to get priority in my opinion.
As has been said before, email the extra help people and see what they say, but I have been to quite a few events and have seen many people on mobility scooters and with disabilities have no problems at all with this system.
It's NOT the system I have a problem with.....it's trying to manoeuvre in the what is quite a small arena. Trust me, it was bedlam trying to move last year. I have emailed, just hope they have the courtesy to reply!

I was wondering about her, but Margot Kidder is already a maybe and I'm not sure Mike will allow me to spend too much more money on photos and autos sadly.
Cool I've also decided to meet Kesiha Castle Hughes :)
Almost the same line up as me!!!My new list is :- James Marsters,Sean Astin,Kristanna Loken,Peter Mayhew,Ray Park and Ke Huy Quan :)
I've been wondering about Margot Kidder she was good in superman and amityville :)
Yeah. Loved her as Lois Lane, so think I will now that Kristanna has dropped out. :)

I think it's only James and Sean talks that are charging. Likely as they're big names, as far as I understand the other talks are still free. I can't sit at the talks anyway, too uncomfortable, so I'm not overly fussed.

Autocorrect changed a word and made it wrong lol
Well, I only met three this year and I'll be honest, I was annoyed at first too thinking it wasn't the best ever line up they've had, but that was my personal opinion and of course plenty there for other people. It was probably the best day I had in the end because it was a little more quieter in way of fans (or may a better merchandise floor plan)? But I got through the hall several times with ease and that was with a walker. The three guests I met were amazing. Plenty of chat, and even photos at the signing desk despite having booked photo ops anyway. I really enjoyed my day at the end and take back my earlier moans (I believe were deleted or hidden). Maybe next there will be so many I'd meet I'll be bankrupt. Lol.
