  1. I stayed at the IBIS Styles Custom House.

A bunch of us from a group on Facebook came together to do something amazing over there.

We basically built our own bridge set, Captain's chair and had our own transporter room.

The hotel were very accomodating... some of the guests from the show itself even turned up!

It was an amazing weekend and the convention was fantastic but being at that hotel with my trekkie mates really made the weekend for me, especially as I had to travel from Dublin, Ireland to be there.

Some of the Showmasters crew were there too and even bought tickets for our raffle to help pay for all the set builds (with the excess of well over £700 going to charity after breaking even).

    So thanks Showmasters! :-)

  2. In previous cases they have been telling people to bring an authorisation letter, Murph is correct on that. I'll try to find out if there's any reason why they haven't mentioned it now.

But in Aaron's case the tickets will be mailed out, to his sister's address, and it looks like there is not enough time to forward them. So his situation is a bit special and he'll nned an authorisation letter for sure.

Ok fair enough then sorry if I wasn't being very helpful.

  3. I hope I don't get that email. My sister paid for my tickets with her card and she isn't going with me.

You'll need authorisation to collect the tickets as it wasn't your card they were bought on.

That's not what I was told by SeeTickets. I booked the tickets using my mother's credit card and when I enquired as to what I'd need to bring with me to prove that I was entitled to the tickets this is what I was told by SeeTickets customer service:

    Hello

    Thank you for your email

As this order is in your name you will not need your mums credit card' date=' as they will be looking for S Kavanagh on the card.

Instead of taking the card please take your photo ID with you. This should be a driving licence or passport.

    [b']Kind regards[/b]

  4. The autograph issue has been mentioned before and is being worked on.

Prebought tickets need to be picked up at the box office. There are signs as far as I know, but a detailed explanation should be posted before the event. Pre-paid and pay on the day definitely will not be in the same queue.

    Ok that's great to hear.

Another question I'd like to ask.. I have booked tickets for a photoshoot for myself and my girlfriend with Patrick Stewart for the Sunday as it was the only day that was left on the website. The problem is we will have to leave the venue early enough (roughly 5pm or so) to actually catch our flight back home from heathrow...

Would there be any way to make sure on the day that we can have the photoshoot take place earlier in the day or is there any facility to swap these tickets with other members if it comes to that?

    Thank you in advance!

  5. Hi All,

I purchased two silver tickets along with a few addons (pics with Patrick Stewart on Sunday) and I live in Ireland.

I was just wondering if there's any way in advance to see which autographs we have on the tickets that are being held for us at the moment?

Also I was wondering what the situation is with collecting the tickets, will there be an area that we have to queue or will we have to join a general queue buying tickets on the day?

    Thanks.
