    My god why is Robert Englunds shoot so late on all days thought usually had a couple of shoots during the days for big guests :-(

     

    Although Robert is a big name guest he's also a repeat guest that has been at many Showmasters events in the past. He'll still be a healthy draw but I would have thought his numbers might drop, even if it's just a bit. I think that the reason for his late photoshoot times is also due to the schedule already been set before he got announced. As a result he's had to be tagged on to the end of each day. Well that's my theory! :lol:

     

    I can understand that but for it to be at the end on all days Ive got 4hours travel to get home I was just hoping that it might have been earlier on at least 1 day and id have said that many of guests are repeat guests

    I've not had mine yet. Have all the photos been send out yet that weren't collected or printed or are there more still to go?

    Hi I still havent recieved my Kate Bracken photo I left a slip at the event and also emailed and attached a photo of myself its not really a problem if its being dealt with but I just havent heard anything as yet?

     

    Still Not heard anything no reply to email or reply to posting on here will try and ring tomorrow as I am getting no joy

    The panel was really good, and what a nice surprise to be able to meet them afterwards to get a signed postcard from them.

     

    The drawback that near enough ruined the whole event for me? The absolute rudeness of two of the crew members sat at the autograph table. Downright rude - in front of Melissa and Frank, constantly shouting out 'no personalisations!' and 'keep moving, move right along!' - how is it possible to 'move right along' when you're in a queue, and the normal thing to do when queuing is wait until it is your turn to keep moving?

     

    Melissa was lovely, signed the postcard in front of me and passed it to the crew member who would give it to Frank to sign, only another crew member gave me a pre-signed postcard instead. I politely asked if I could wait and get the postcard that Melissa had signed infront of me - that Frank was literally just about to sign, as it does make a difference to see it being signed, and have the one that was signed for you - only to be *shouted* at by the crew member sat behind the table passing the postcards along - that 'it doesn't make a difference! They've signed them all, they're all the same!' (just as Frank was signing my postcard and about to pass it to me).

     

    Now I'm sorry, but what is the point in these signing shows if, apparently, according to a Showmaster's crew member - and therefore spokesperson - it doesn't make a difference if you see the guest signing in front of you? Should we all just buy our autographs off the internet instead? Should I not bother paying to come to these events if it doesn't make a difference? Am I missing the entire point of these signing shows?

     

    Needless to say, I was pretty mortified after being shouted at - and in front of these two lovely guests. I ignored the crew member as I thought it was so unprofessional of her and didn't want to get into an argument, thanked Frank (who passed me the postcard with no issues right at that moment) and walked away. The whole thing was really upsetting, and left a sour taste about the whole weekend.

     

    Some of the crew at the event over the weekend really need a lesson in manners to be quite honest. Which is a shame as there were so many friendly, helpful crew members, but it's the rude ones that stay in your memory. I think they need to realise that attendees take holidays and spend a lot of their hard earned wages at these events, and quite simply, it is unprofessional and terrible customer service to treat people like that.

     

    I couldnt agree more the staff on the whole were great but the ones after the talk with Melissa and Frank were downright rude and unprofessional as many of us have been to these events before we all know to move along quickly but to be shouted at for no reason be a free signing or not was very unprofessional

    The Iron Throne from Game of Thrones

    Is there any chance of getting the Iron Throne prop from the Game of Thrones TV series for display and photo ops for LFCC or Collectormania?

     

    I recall it was on display in a HMV in London for the day the first set of DVDs were released and you could get your photo taken on it (I missed out though).

     

    I think it'd be a cool opportunity for fans attending either event.
