Oh dear lol...Funny cos if there were anywhere near 12 guests people would then start moaning that fitting them all in would be crazy and rushed.. 5 is good enough if you ask me.

I'm not saying this personally to you but the amount of hypocrisy on this forum is almost laughable, people don't want Charlie because he's been before, but so has Alex, Gill, Chaske, most of them. Then people ask for Booboo back, Noel and Toni...okay cos they would be repeats too?...weird...

I think it's quite obvious that they will try to get new guests but hey if they can't, repeat guests it is and i'm more than happy with that :) It being the last one I don't care, just want to go have fun and remember good times :) X

In all honesty, I think all we could do is dream. Pretty sure she's only ever been to 1 event, that being the official one in LA

I have been ensconced in the world of Twilight since 2006. I was at the first convention and will be at the last. Although I am truly saddened that ET8 will be the last, I completely understand the whys. At the end of the day, Twilight was a little indie movie back in 2008. It hadn't been in the cinema more than 2 months when ET1 took place and the cast hadn't reached the popularity that they have now. Thanks to us, the fans, we have made sure that the actors are in high demand and that in turn makes it more costly to secure their attendance at events like these. When attendee numbers drop off, that means less money to pay for the better guests. Of course that's a catch 22 situation since if the better guests aren't booked, the attendees don't want to come. It's sad but since the likes of Peter Facinelli is determined to come to the last UK event we should make sure he remembers the UK fans with fondness when he looks back on his Twilight days. I will always look back on these cons as some of the best times in my life but as I suspect it is for the actors, it's time to leave Twilight behind and move on to pastures new!

I'd be very surprised if another con organiser tried it now. It's far too late to start a Twicon in my opinion, and let's be honest - if ME have been doing them for years and feel they can't do them anymore, then a new company will struggle badly.

Although it might be the final full weekend Twilight convention....I am pretty sure that ME/Showmasters will get Twilight guests to attend the likes of LFCC or Collectormania (is that still going?)
There will still be chances to meet Twilight cast members in the future I am sure...
Agreed also. I can't see there being any just for twilight con in the UK anymore, and I'm guessing after 2012/2013 even worldwide but i'm sure if you want to meet the stars that much there are different ways too, like you said comic con etc.

he is a nice guest but as ET8 is the last one, I'd rather ME spending money on new guests or guests who came only once

Tbh it's all abit premature anyways it's 8 months away, no diss to SM but alot can change in 8 months, so i'll just sit back and wait & see

I agree. ET8 will only be my 3rd ET and as gutted as I am that it is ending and I regret not getting to earlier ones, I think it is best to leave it. Hopefully on a high, which i'm sure it will be :) Plus..I hate odd numbers so if they did ET9 i'd go mad if they didn't do Et10..haha yes i'm weird

DEAR DIARY......Yes, i agree.... massive thank you to ME for another great con!!
I arrived in a very bad and upset mood (my kitten got run over and killed thursday night) but i was still there.
The guests were lovely as always and i have to say that Bronson has redeemed himself from the first time i met him. He's a really nice guy.
It was a shame Myana had to leave earlier but she was lovely too and i hope to see any of this weekends guests at the next con.
And of course, thank you to my lovely friends for being there and getting me to have a good time - don't know where i would be without my MJV's!!!
Gutted ET8 will be the final con, but hoping ME might do some collaborations between Vampire related programmes in the future... that would be amazing!
The weekend was just CRAZY!!

LOVED it! So glad my sister and I went, we had a blast. The guests were fabulous, Noel is just amazing, they all were. Tickets are being bought for Oct asap x

my sister and I will be going, just standard this time. Will be suprised if the guests are the same in 8 months time, but we dont care, we know the guys always try their best and stuff crops up, so yeah we're going and im sure it will be just awesome...just like ET7 was btw, alot of people should be feeling gutted they didnt go x -
Volturi or Monte Carlo for Sat night. Something chilled for Fri & Sun :) x
