  1. oh yeah..if Dom comes to a Collectormania again, I'd be there instantly as well. Met him at C4 and it was just brilliant! I haven't been able to go to any Collectormania since then, but if Dom would turn up again, I'd make it work! But well..that just might be a dream right? C4 was just mad! Great in every way, but definitely mad! *ggg*

  2. That's like soo cool!!! Great work!!! Miranda, Bernhard and Dom are closest to my birthday, which is on 22nd of December. :)

And as for PJ being younger than Viggo: That really IS a weird thought! *lol* I think it was one of the first things appearing to me when reading the dates! *lol*

  3. Yeah, Sharon truly is a family friend! *lol* I'm a family friend too, didn't you know??!! *lol* ;)

Anyway..I think it's more because she can't really say it correctly than she doesn't really know his name I guess. She also said "he plays one of these hobbit-people, it's Merry I think" Or something like that..*lol* She just didn't do her homework I'd say! *lol*

  4. Bambi didn't make you cry. Weirdo! hehe ;) it probably made me cry when i was about 6. haven't seen it since then though :P

Same here I gotta say! *g* My mum said I was like sitting on a chair watching Bambi and was like crying all the time. I wonder why this is a children's movie anyway..it's soo sad! :P:P

  5. Mhh I haven't seen them at Sam's and Rosie's wedding yet. I gotta keep an eye out for that! :)

Anyway, I think it's so cute how mostly Katie looks all grown up. I mean she's still very young but comparing the FOTR scene to the ROTK scene she looks so much older. They're both lovely kids! :)

  6. ur one hour earlier!

Oh thank you for that! I'm always mixing times up! *g* :)

So who's gonna work out that homepage now?! Karamelrose, isn't she?!

We could kinda get some ideas what to write, so that she doesn't have to do everything by herself...

  7. Yeah, isn't it?! It's kinda a weird idea but at the same time I really like it. It's like counting the people of a country. I mean if everything works we'll have thousands of names of people who love the books and the movies as much as we do. It's like that huuuuuge family. And whenever there's someone like making fun of us and saying "WTF, just stop talking about LOTR..it's way to stupid or whatever" we can go" Well, tell that to that 1 million or whatever other fans out there.." *ggg*

Well and even if it doesn't work, it's a fun thing to do! :)

  8. Well the time difference isn't too bad, as long as no one's from america. It's just one hour later (or is it earlier?!) here in Switzerland than it is in England. I guess I'll manage that..we just gotta find out when I need to be on here! *g*

Sleep well then! I'm gonna go to bed too. *getting tired now*

    Hugs to everyone

    and sweet dreams!

  9. Oh this is gonna be brilliant. I know some people in New Zealand, and I bet these people know someone in Australia..so we've got the 5th continent covered already too! *ggg*

I don't have MSN unfortunately..but I've got ICQ...or you can alway reach me by email: arwen.evenstar@bluemail.ch

  10. That email idea crossed my mind too...we really could do that! I could start it in Switzerland and you could start it in England..so we'd already have two countries..:-) Okay..I really like that idea...we could like write down our names (nicknames or whatever, that doesn't really matter) and just pass it on. and then the next person writes down his/her name too! And as you said, once we reach, let's say 500 or 1000 that person can send the email back to us. Wohoo..that sounds like fun...

mhhh..what do you think we should write?! I could also do a german translation, so that german people as well will understand it...

  11. Oh it would be kinda cool if there was some place where every LOTR fan could register. So that in the end we'd have a list with all the people being a fan...I bet it would be millions. 'Cause after all there are also many old fans around who've read the books a long time ago, who adore the story as much as we younger fans do.

And yes, WE ALL ROCK! :vader:

  12. Oh yes, I totally second that. That interview was brill!!! And in the end it was sooo funny, because both the interviewer and Dom were making fun of their "Viggo being a CG character with a wooden leg" invention! That's soo great. I couldn't stop laughing! :) :vader:

BTW: Bring Dom back for C5! :)

  13. Yes, even more so the friends. I've never met so many incredibly nice people during my whole life than I've met since I became a fan of LOTR (or make that since PJ made that movie trilogy, 'cause earlier, when there was just the books I didn't get to know so many other fans either..it just all really started with the trilogy coming to the big screen.) So I'm even more happy that PJ took up that project. If it hadn't been for that movie trilogy we actually wouldn't even be talking on that forum right now...so I guess we're really blessed to be able to get to know so many great people! LOTR fans are the best! And I'm not saying that because I am a fan myself! :)

    Nyah

  14. True, they don't!!! And honestly I'm quite glad about that..I mean even though others look at us like we're the biggest weirdos it's just soo cool to be that way, 'cause in some ways it makes us different from all the other (sometimes even boring - no offence btw!) people, who don't have something like LOTR in their lives. They really don't know what they're missing.

Well I alway keep saying "I'm a freak and I'm pretty damn proud of it!" :P

  15. I could be wrong too, but I think the scar was on the right side; being the side it's supposed to be. When watching ROTK again today - or make that yesterday, 'cause it's already past 1 am - I was almost obsessed with Frodos finger. I always wanted to have a look whether they didn't forget to erase it off Elijah's hand (or whatever it is they did to it, so that it looks like Gollum's bitten it off.) It was kinda funny, 'cause in the end at the grey havens when the hobbits hug, you always see Elijah's right arm, whereas the missing finger is on the left hand. So I was always close to say: "There you go, they missed it" but then reminded me again, that it was the left hand the finger was missing on. *g*

How weird is that??!! Sometimes it's almost like making up weird games during the movie...I guess that shows you that you've been (and still are) way to obsessed with LOTR! *ggg*

  16. mine is track five (Steward of Gondor) coz when Billy sings; my heart seems to melt!

Oh I totally second that! When I first heard the stuart of Gondor I was sitting in a train driving to a friend of mine and I was like looking out of the window and I heard that beautiful flute used in that song. And then all of a sudden Billy started singing and I was like incapable of breathing really. It was incredible. I guess all the people sitting in that train must have thought what crazy person I am, being close to tears all of a sudden. Well, that's pure fandom I guess! :)
