  1. neil didnt have anyone register anywhere. i decided the time was right to grace you poor sods with my presence when i read the posts of your colleague mrs mao. and you insinuation that he did or would is another fine example of the reason why i decided to post. stop me when i'm wrong, buit didnt jason start this very thread with the words "you are all entitled to your opinion" ?? well that is mine. i have not said i disagree with the rules. and as such am not attempting to debate them. for the sake of clarity of will make my opinion clear. the problem is the implementation of said rules and subsequent attitude shown. not in one post. but in several. while you may be here working for jason, i can assure you i represent no one but myself. in fact neil dislayed concern over what i said, in that he may be blamed for what i said. not an unfounded concern it now seems..... so no, i'm not attempting to turn this into an arguement. just pointing out that the moderation of the link could, and in my opinion should, have been handled far better. combined with then accusing neil of having me register for the purpose of having a go just goes to show that while your title may say unoficial lawyer, anyone woud be insane to hire you as such as making such claims as you have ended this post with are bordering on defamation of neils character. stretching it a bit? certainly. but true in the legal sense? yes. if you have a problem with me or my posts, then please direct any comments toward me. the person responsible. and not those who are not responsible. making such assumptions, no, thats the wrong word, accusations, i am assuming is not something jason condones. and again i state for the record, there was, and is, no attempt beng made to debate the rules. only their poor implementation.
  2. no, not just you neil, that last post was incredibly patronising. i'm my years i've run many forums, the biggest at its height having over 3000 active members. and i have never, ever, heard anyone claim that they read the rules and such when they registered. never. assuming that others will, and should, always do as you do, is pretty arrogant. i know cause i dont know anyone more arrogant than i am. did anyone consider pointing this out? or asking neil to remove the link? i must admit i find this all a bit petty. not for not wanting to allow any advertising, which this isnt really, but i can see the reason behind it, but for the patronising attitude taken in doing it. your not a primary school teacher used to dealing with small children are you? i'm sure i had you in primary 3. if theres one thing that really gets my back up its this type of fervent moderation, your not the chinese government, lighten up a bit and try to work with the users on the board, or customers as they are otherwise known. a simple request to remove a link the first time it was noticed, instead of just removing it, would have served both to have it removed, and educate as to why, eliminating the possibility of him doing so again. and also eliminated the whole arrogant condescending nature of the follow up.
