We are pleased to announce that Sergei Konstantinovich Krikalev will be joining us for Autographica!

Krikalev was space station flight engineer on the MIR Space Station and has an incredible 803 days, 9 hours and 39 minutes logged in space!

Also included in his impressive resume is several years working on the Russian Buran Shuttle programme.

Krikalev also flew on the American Space Shuttle, STS-60, which was the first joint US/Russion Space Shuttle mission.

For his space flight experience Krikalev was awarded Hero of the Soviet Union and The Order of Lenin, amongst many other accolades!

We are delighted that Sergei will be joining us and we look forward to welcoming him to Autographica!

It would be rather nice if Helen Sharman could be invited to join her former MIR Expedition 9 crewmate!

Sergei Krikalev is a superb guest he has the most accumulative time in orbit and is still a active Cosmonaut who I believel is also dubbed the "Last citizen of the USSR" as he remained in orbit during the break up of the Soviet Union and was also supposed to be a member of the first 6 person crew of the ISS.

But I believe Helen Sharman is a little reluctant to do signings but nevertheless would be a pleasure to meet at an event such as Autographica.

Cheers,
Alex.
