It was ten minutes after three in the morning, and a deadly silence fell over the surrounding area of the great monument which muggles had named Stonehenge. Around the famous stones lay many torches which surrounded the historic sight, casting an eerie glow around the area.

Inside the stone circle stood two figures, one wore a long black cloak which hid the features of his face; he stood at the centre gazing at the other figure who was smaller and quite clearly female. She wore no cloak but was still clad entirely in black. She had long black hair which fell along her back, her skin was deathly pale, and her eyes were large and piercing. She knelt before the other mysterious figure and raised one hand towards him, a hand which held what appeared to be a long, black stick.

“My Lord, I offer my powers to you and your cause, I offer my strength and my life,†She whispered, her voice smooth and cold.

The other figure, although his face still remained hidden, now wore a slight and wicked grin as he looked down upon the kneeling young girl, “Do you now?†He whispered, his voice sounded like a soft hiss, as though snakelike, “And what power do you have to offer me?â€

The girl raised her head slightly, her dark eyes burning up at the taller man, “Give me but chance to show you my Lord.†She replied, a faint smile of her own upon her lips.

The other laughed shortly before nodding once, “Very well, you shall have your chance,†He said as he gestured one hand, which also held a long white stick, towards a stone, the air shimmered faintly as another figure suddenly appeared upon the ground. It was a young man with dark blonde hair, he gazed up at the two figures and released a cry of surprise, clearly utterly confused at what had happened, he began pinching his left arm as though hoping he could wake himself up from whatever this strange nightmare was he was witnessing.

He smirked at the sight and lowered his arm, “Kill him,†He hissed.

The woman swallowed hard but nodded her head once as she raised herself to her feet slowly, she appeared cool and calm, but inside a battle was raging, she had never truly murdered a human before, muggle or otherwise, and although she knew she wanted nothing more than to join the infamous Death Eaters, she had thought that the moments before her first true kill would be easier than this.

“Avada Kedavra,†She bellowed, and as she did so, every torch around Stonehenge went out.

“Welcome Bellatrix,†Lord Voldemort whispered wickedly.
