surfy_sah Posted September 2, 2005 Share Posted September 2, 2005 (edited) there don't SEEM to be any topics about this already... so I thought I'd start one everyone up for the Friday Night Bowling Meet this CM? for newbies: this is a forum meet that's happened at the last few Collectormanias in City Limits which is in the Xcape Centre The Xcape Centre can be located at the bottom right corner of the map close to the event located at 1, it's a max of 10mins from the shopping centre! directions! walk out of the shopping centre on the COSTA side, cross the road and keep walking - either through the food court or around it! it's a huge sloping building and you can't really miss it!! if you see bars and a KFC, you're headed in the right direction! once you get inside, you will need to locate the ESCALATORS - the entrance to City Limits is behind them we can arrange to meet by the INFO DESK at C8 then walk accross if people prefer nearer the time! cash/cigs/sweets/drinks there are cashpoints located on the opposite side to the escalators as City Limits and a "shop" right by the entrance - though be warned, you will need to "sneak" drinks or sweets in as of course the bouncers prefer you to buy it inside at 3 times the price!! what can you do there? there's a bar, pub/restuarant, the bowling alley, arcades with pool tables and dancing area all in City Limits with the Xcape centre offering a vaiety of bars/pubs ad restuarants, climbing wall, the ski slope, shops, a cinema and of course a McD and KFC! I'm under 18... where this forum meet is open to everyone, there are often bouncers at the entrance, you will need ID if you wish to drink! (hey better to take it just incase than not have it, right? ) if you are under 16, just tell the bouncer that you are bowling as sometimes they won't let you in without ID. it's best to turn up as a group of people rather than on your own so come along and join in the fun, and no, you don't have to bowl! PEEPS! you might want to wear a sticker/badge with your forum name on so you can be recognised amoungst all the other people! I haven't bowled at a meet yet! normally found in the arcade or in the comfy seats in the bar area! but this year I am celebrating my 21st so likely to be dancing too, if I have enough drinks! or, if EVERYONE else has enough drinks!!!!! for you guys that haven't been before, may I suggest some sort of ID that you are a forum member, perhaps a sticker? as there will be LOTS of people in there bowling and hanging out for the weekend looking forward to it muchly! surfy sah xx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
