Tbh September for me is two one day events one where all I have is a single name where most of my day is travel, the other is a bit longer BUT shouldn’t be too tricky to sort out, I’m budgeting it well but Andrew Hayden Smith is definitely on his way out of the day on the list, it now comes down to the final two names who with over a month til the day it’s weird I’m at 10 already

On that note the latest announcement was very much a “oh goodie” because it’s a sixth Doctor era name that isn’t Colin or Bonnie, and it’s one for a rarer cover as my “The Mysterious Planet” has of course got one of my Jaystons on it, so having Adam Blackwood on the set is a great land

There's no reason that I know of for her not to do a convention, I've just never seen her announced for one before. So never say never.

Im just sceptical about her doing any, as surely she would have done one by now.

Clare did Collectormania 9 back in 2006

Now that is a big guest for MK. You could say a Galactus of a guest. Shame its another Saturday guest

Damn shame it’s MK would love him for Chernobyl as that voice is something else, would be great for Doctor who audio

Oh definitely, it’s a shame you can’t get him.

i wanna attend the event but it’s way too soon a turn over for me to do it and the funds will absolutely not stretch

So I was thinking and obviously in what could be a solid name to go with Freema, and that would be Tom Ellis who was Thomas Milligan in “The Last of Timelords” and was said to be Martha’s Fiance before… RTD decided to screw that up.

and of course he would be a draw unto himself because of Lucifer so wouldn’t that be an interesting land for some people (I know my dear old coworker would love him so I’d likely try and swing that for her)

In another great combination because they have Sir Derek Jacobi, you could get John Simms in finally rebooking him after the cancelled collectormania in 2023, then to appeal to the Life on Mars crowd get Marshal Lancaster who was in “The Rebel Flesh” so you’re covering a lot of ground

Now I’ve often mentioned my wanting some Londons Burning cast (most specifically those who’ve done Doctor who) and the name which I think would be best would be Glen Murphy as he was a big cast member in his sole Doctor who story and was the longest cast member on the TV show, but then again you could get anyone from that show and it would go with him (Sans Jerome Flynn and the guy who played Ethnic as they were only in the movie), But Edward Peel and Sean Blowers would be great as a duo for Londons Burning (even if Blowers left half way through series 9 and Peel joined at the mid point of Series 12) and the same Doctor who story “Dragonfire”

It is what it is, i forgot I'd signed up to do a charity bungee jump when I booked theatre tickets for the same day. The theatre is in MK as well, but I not going to risk it timewise. And after spending so much on Flux and now having to go Winter LFCC I'm letting my funds build back up

He would 100% be a diamond pass like his last appearances, but also very busy work wise, and always popular as and when he does appear. BUt like Lucifer will turn up when you dont expect him

unlike the Spanish Inquisition, no-one expects them to turn up.

He's retired from acting now, and is a plasterer in Macclesfield, so not sure how likely he would be appear. Maybe for one of their more northern shows

I would love to get him obviously along with another name from Series 3 who went onto do a lot of big roles Andrew Garfield

It’s the travel cost and that I would also want a hotel as well, as it’s a solid 2-3 hour trip where I’d need to leave stupid early in the morning and would be shattered by the time I’m there and back, plus I wouldn’t have enough CDs on the backlog to last me… well maybe? But I still need the reserve for work and pray that I can make ends work until I have a solid backlog.

but back to MK there is also the sticky wicket of it being a two day event and I can’t afford that a week after one and two weeks before another.

I have found a Genesis of the Daleks with an unpersonalised Peter Miles on. And I had an independent company verify it, so it is legit.

Sir I am impressed I saw a few on eBay personalised for “Genesis of the Daleks” but at the same time as we know I can’t just chuck in a Liz Sladden for a Peter Miles.

In an ideal world, I'd be wanting the trio Spiderman photo signed, but with little to no chance of Toby Maguire, and not willing to shell out for Tom's private signing, the completist in me would steer away from that. At least getting a steel book signed would be a conversation starter, however brief

Cheers, I had my doubts about it, hence asking for a third party appraisal, obviously they could only go by the photo but it was enough to make the leap.

I'm not going to be able to find a Liz, so will just have to replace Tom on it, if and when the chance comes up. and hopefully Guy Siner does a local show, and then I'll have all the signatures replaced unpersonalised

Andrew on anything other than Spider-man would be a conversation starter usually on a sofa with a ticking clock and in a straight jacket.

he would be someone who is just casually mention I have on series 3 and never really address that I’ve spent what can only be assumed to be £200 odd for a spider-man and have him on Doctor who.

Guy Siner is one I want for many reasons mainly “Allo, Allo” I wonder if he’ll bring Clarence.

but he would be a two for one with Doctor who, as I’d want him on both “Genesis of the Daleks” and The Davros Collection.
