Hopefully Queen can give you an official reply when she sees this but Christopher has been a guest before, others would have had swords signed and I don't recall anyone having an issue with them - I think they ask you to keep it boxed at all times until you get to the desk and alert the crew in the queue that you have a sword to be signed.  Afterwards it needs to stay boxed as well.

What the Lady posted. Keep it boxed until you are at the table, and for the love of everything shiny and fluffy give the crew in the queue a heads up, don't simply unbox it. Sorry for sounding dramatic, but you don't want those nice security chaps tackling you. Afterwards it needs to go back into the packaging as soon as the signature is dry.

Currently I am not aware of any restrictions by the venue. If there should be some the info will be posted.
