The communication has been so awful nobody knows if they are false advertising or not. I'm not sure even SM know. At the moment it'll just be a fun surprise to see who actually turns up. I've had my issues with showmasters in the past when it comes to how they advertise stuff but at least they did talk to their customers and fan base. Nowadays there's no communication and it's very disappointing. Surely people would be more angry if they spent cash on photo ops, diamond passes etc, only to get told at the event that the guest isn't attending than if they got told weeks or months in advance. Ive got a family member attending her first big con and is absolutely buzzing to meet some of the guests and get photo ops with them (which she's already got booked) if we get to the event and they aren't there she's going to be crushed. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Only 13 names r left who r yet b reconfirmed I have grrovily posted in another topic, they are: fiona, jemma, amanda, andrew, nick, riz, aaron, clark (although clarks posted on his twitter he probs won't b able to attend), karen, sam h, emmy & the wrestlers. It’s at this point that if there is an issue for the guest to attend it comes up. Some things we can change to ensure the guest can still make their appearance, such as flight in from another city or to cut down the days at the event. For some guests, there may be a concern over Covid and we can put practices in place to make them feel safe. These things all tend to come up around two to three weeks before the event and this year it’s no different in that regard, however the concerns over Covid have created some additional challenges. Most guests are fine and travel has been booked, but there are a few that are filming, and as such the production has asked the guest not to travel or go to a public event until filming has finished, which is stopping some of them from attending. We have back up plans in place so if a guest cannot attend, we can reach out to some guests we have begun to plan for 2022 and ask them to attend this year's event. We wanted to let you all know that we are working hard to bring you all of the guests we have contracted and confirmed to attend but this year it is going to affect some of the guests in this way and as such, we will be looking to replace any cancellations or reschedules with a different guest so that we have a full line up of guests that are looking forward to attending. So far, there are a few guests we are either helping to make this year's appearance still possible, or we are negotiating with them attending a future event, so please bear with us as we work through all the options. This allows us to update you all properly with the facts and when the options have been talked over with the guests themselves and, when applicable, their agents. We want to be transparent with you all, we will have an amazing line up for LFCC, regardless if some of the guests have to change or not. We feel that over the next 7 days or so we will be close to our full line up. This year has been tough for everyone, but we will 100% deliver the events you love and expect from us over the past 30 years. There will be some rare and new guests attending, so be sure to keep an eye out for these announcements as we get closer to the dates of the show as we have lots of offers out with some great guests! We are only expecting this to impact a few guests, but we felt it was important to share the facts with you all and to be transparent. There’s not long now until London Film & Comic Con makes it’s return and we are so looking forward to seeing you all and the incredible line up we have in store for you! So Ladies and grroovy gentleman, we have only 10 names still awaiting re-confirmation, they r: Fiona Shaw, Amanda Abington, Nick Frost, Riz Ahmed, Aaron Paul, Karen Allen, Sam Humphrey, Emmy Raver whats her name, PJ (was gonna say duncan wrong one) & Cinta Del Oro.
