What a fantastic start to the day. Went to get a Christopher Eccleston vq. The lovely man in charge of the queue was about to give me 186 then said as there was no-one there I could go straight up.

Christopher Eccleston was really chatty and obviously enjoying himself.

I had the same thing happen but with Matthew Lillard! Really felt lucky about that.

The holding hall was open, I walked past myself. What queue were you in?

He means once the initial queue was let into the hall, it wasn’t then utilised when new people got through gate H. When I reached there the hall was empty and people were scanned and sent around the barriers straight to the entrance. So people could have been let in out the rain while queueing to go through the entrance into the event. This was at 10am and beyond.

I should reiterate that it was moving quickly but I was a bit shocked it was still that big at 11.30 but I suppose if people delay arrival and still all arrive at the same time it's going to get backed up a bit, it does take a moment to get through security after all

He is indeed and he is such a lovely man.  Be warned though that becasue of photo's and the fact that he is chatty his queue is very slow.
