Kurdamoni 1,310 Posted Monday at 10:15 AM Does anyone know or suspect that there will be a vendor again with the photo frames to put your photo in with an actor/actress that also have a name tag and two pictures of movies in it?

Yeah, they are always in attendance so whilst It's obviously not guaranteed I'd be very surprised if they weren't. I think its ASSOS or similar.

indio 37 Posted Wednesday at 07:35 PM What time is it recommended to arrive, in the hope to meet a Diamond Pass guest, but without a diamond pass?

Depends who it is really, and obviously there's no guarantee you will get to meet them depending on how busy they are, how slow they sign and how many other people want to meet them. Having said that however, most Diamond guests are doable on VQ's especially if they and you are there more than one day. Because of all that it's hard to advise a time as there are many factors in play. The majority of people usually arrive between 8/9 for opening, but some arrive earlier. If you can be there all day, and go get your VQ as soon as you get in you improve your chances as they are often a lot quieter at the end of the day.
Queen_Sindel 4,022 Posted Wednesday at 09:12 PM Generally the answer is "as early as possible", especially if it is on Saturday. If you are after George like I suspect I personally would be there by 7.
The_batflash123 441 Posted Wednesday at 10:09 PM Just grab your sleeping bag and lay in front of the door around 9 am on friday and you'll be safe. If it's a guest who'se there for the while weekend that is.

Looks like I'll be getting to the venue a bit earlier than planned then as I might try to get George on Saturday. Also, does anyone have an idea what time to loading bay for queuing inside the building will be open? Or will information like that be revealed when we get the floor plan etc closer to the event? I think it's usually one hour before the con opens that you can queue in the building.
The_batflash123 441 Posted Wednesday at 10:38 PM That is if it's the same entrance as they summer one of course.
Wrong Name 3,287 Posted Wednesday at 11:00 PM As the hall being used is over the other side of Olympia, I doubt the same entrance hall will be used, if they have an entrance hall at all.
Chris1970 3,572 Posted Wednesday at 11:15 PM Unless they use the joining area as passage to National. The ”hangar” is pretty good place to queue up, desks to pick up DP etc etc. Especially if the weather is crappy, which is not impossible.
Raylenth 5,365 Posted Thursday at 06:54 AM TBH I'm assuming we will be queueing out on the main road for the main entrance but we will see.

Wrong Name 3,287 Posted Thursday at 07:32 AM Yeah, for a smaller show, I can't see SM hiring multiple halls that won't really be used apart from as a corridor.
