Halloween 40 years. Nick Castle this year was awesome, so maybe time for Jamie Lee Curtis :-)

The 40th anniversary was this year....not 2019.

But to add to the list;

Clerks - 25th Anniversary

As I already pointed out above. The Halloween 40th anniversary was THIS year, 2018.

The original was released in 1978.

Superman was released December 1978 so techically the 40th anniversary is next month, not next year.

Grease was September 1978

Yes, you're right, my fault, all the above are 1978. How did I confused with Grease?? Anyway, thanks for the correction.

You include Ghostbusters II in the 30th anniversary section (for which I applaud you), but not the original Ghostbusters in the 35th?! How can this be?!! :P

OMG, looks like while I tried to remember anything, I forgot the most important films! Ghostbusters is in my top 5 films, yeah how can I forgot this??? You have a point! I will re-edit the list! Plus, the year 1984 is probably the most important year of the 80s on films!! :o

Speed 25

Batman MoP 25

OHMSS 50 (6 months in advance but hey)

Models Inc 25 (Linda Gray , CA Moss , Romanov and others)

So what? ..People could see any film at any time.

Anniversaries need to be based off either the intial theatrical release, or the U.K. theatrical release.

This is why Halloween’s 40th anniversary was celebrated with various events this year. And one of the working titles for the new film was H40

i dont think its a rule thats set in stone though , for example Good Bad Ugly was 1966 in Italy but '68 rest of the world........Where Eagles Dare turns 50 this x-mas but theres no rule that says an anniversary cant technically last a whole yr

Planes trains automobiles 30 (Martin doesnt sign anymore but maybe hed do a con)

From Russia with Love 55 (Daniela Bianchi would be amazing !)

10th anniversary of Rob Zombie's Halloween 2, so Malcolm McDowell, Scout Taylor-Compton, Tyler Mane, Brad Dourif and Danielle Harris would be great.

On the one hand I'm like: Halloween 2 really doesn't deserve to be celebrated, but on the other hand I haven't met Malcolm McDowell and Scout Taylor-Compton yet... So bring it on!

I'm in the small minority that loves Halloween 2. In my mind it definitely deserves to be celebrated, but I can certainly understand why so many people don't like it.
