Three  questions guys, could I bring a can of beer into our photo shoot for a pose and also does anyone know when online sales close? And lastly can I buy a Saturday Diamond and collect my auto on the Sunday? Cheers! :D

Beer - probably but I'd make sure it's empty and make sure it's a can rather than bottle (the mods will of course have final say)

Sales - the closing date is listed next to each item in the shop Zak, but for most things it's either going to be the day before or on the day

Diamonds - are not day specific, they are designed to cover the whole event as activities can take place on different days so if you buy one it covers the whole event.  If a talk is included the day it takes place will be specified in the Terms, make sure you read that, and you can select the day for the photo.  Auto's are called in number order and you can join the queue any time after you have been called, so if you have a low number and are called on Saturday you can indeed wait until Sunday.  But as a note, if an activity is day specific you cannot do it on another day.

If I buy a Diamond pass with Mads, do I get a guaranteed seat if he does a talk? Was wondering

No Zak, you are only guaranteed what is included and specified in the terms.  As a talk isn't included in his Diamond, if he does one you don't get priority access or a ticket.

 fair enough.

It depends what you mean be 'talk' to them.  Some talks are free, some are ticketed but if it's a ticketed one you will see tickets on sale for it in the shop.  Otherwise just look when the schedule is published and if he's doing a talk and it's free it will say so on the schedule.  If it's free, seating is first come first served so you just queue up and get what seat you can when you get in.

If the guest doesn't have anyone queuing at their auto table you are allowed to go up and chat to them if they are willing but you have to leave as soon as a paying customer turns up.  If you are in a queue for an auto with him and there are other people in it as well you might be able to say a short message but you won't be able to say much because of the people queuing behind you.  If it's busy and you just want to go up to say hello and not get an auto you won't be allowed to as they have to prioritise paying customers.

If you want to join the auto line you will need to get a VQ for Mads as he will be busy.

Hi. This may sound like a daft question, but I've noticed cons have different ways of doing things.. For Showmasters' Birmingham Collectormania, do we have to pre-purchase photographs and autographs, or can we just queue up and buy them on the day? Thanks!

Hi Beverley, all the Showmasters events run the same way.  Photo's can be bought on the day from the sales desk provided they haven't sold out on the website before hand, if they have they will not be available to purchase on the day.

Autographs can only be purchased on the day when in the queue for the guest.

Great day yesterday, loved it! I must say though, I think autograph fee for Mads was far too expensive! This seemed obvious to me because once the die-hard fans were done, for significant periods of time he had NO-ONE in line to meet him. Very disappointing really as had the autographs been, say £35, I think he'd have been much busier and made more cash as a result. .

Also, for the first few hours he allowed selfies, that's really going to annoy those people who forked out an additional £60 for a photo shoot, many of whom did so for fear of not being able to get a photo with him.

I made this point yesterday.. I am a big fan of Mads. If his auto was cheaper I would of met him again yesterday.

So say he made it £35 at London when I saw him in 2017 and £35 yesterday he still would be £10 up on the deal and I would of got to meet him twice.

At £60 He is a one off.

How very dare you all. He would be a bargain even at £62.

I just got him to say "hygge" for me, and quite frankly that moment alone was worth every penny I've ever spent on the man.
