Well I never knew he directed The Last Starfighter! Ohhhhh....

He also directed The Boy Who Could Fly but even more importantly he co-wrote Escape From New York with Carpenter. That's my only interest in him.

Oh and he was also in John Carpenter's band, The Coupe De Villes with JC and Tommy Lee Wallace. They did the title song for Big Trouble In Little China.

Effing hell!!! I've been waiting in hope for YEARS that you guys would pull this off... As a massive fan of Halloween, thank you Showmasters!!

Just need PJ Soles and JLC now... ;)

Hope he brings some 8x10 photo's of him in the new movie!

Jamie Lee Curtis would be an epic guest, up there with Sigourney Weaver from 2015. She's done a convention in the US so you never know...

I've never even seen any of the Halloween movies...maybe it's time I should...-_-

WHAT?!? Halloween only came out 40 years ago!

The original is a classic.

Halloween 2 has a schlocky charm to it.

Halloween 3 is a great B-movie.

4,5 and 6 I pretend don't exist in the canon.

H20 I really enjoyed as the conclusion to parts 1&2. Should have ended on this one.

Resurrection is horrendous and an insult to JLC's character.

Forget about Rob Zombie's remakes.

Then we have the one coming out this year that is meant to be a direct sequel to first film... a sort of do-over of the ideas behind H20.

For me in my opinion it's,

Halloween 1978

Halloween 2 1981

Halloween 4

Halloween H20

Halloween 5

Halloween 6

Halloween Resurrection

I love Halloween 3 Season Of The Witch but that film is it's own entity :)

I basically enjoy every Halloween movie no matter how bad some are, i still have a good time with them even the remakes, but the first movie is a great film and a horror classic that will truly live on for ever. One of Carpenters best.

I refuse to watch the sequels haha (seen a few on telly, most crap).

To keep Halloween unfettered and diluted by crapness.

So the new one will be the first one I make an effort with :-D may try Hallween 2 mind you one day....

I have seen 1 & 2, not so fond of the rest. I will give the upcoming one a chance.

2 is good because it follows on directly from the original. It’s basically one movie.

4/5/6 can be confusing for the casual viewer I think.

H20 is fun

resurrection is awful but fun

Then rob zombie kinda slaughtered the character and made him a hoody wearing hobo who saw white horses everywhere

Interesting,

probably just a cash-in though unless they have added anything new

Hopefully there will be some interesting new things added to this, but I will wait until nearer its release time to decide on getting it, because they normally reveal what exactly it will contain nearer to the time of its release. If it contains nothing new I won't bother getting it (although I will probably cave and get it anyway due to collection's sake lol :D).
