Raylenth
As Rob said the app is out but I still think for the photo shoot booths large screen monitors where you can just have projected the session name and the batch they are calling is a relatively easy option though there is obviously a big health and safety issue with being able to have them safely there with so many people squashed in and rushing around. Photoshoot booths and guest tables are on the same floor and their locations, as well as the floor plan, are published nearer the time. If you miss a photoshoot session, unless there’s a second session later in the day, you won’t get another opportunity nor a refund. If there’s a clash, you can post here or speak to a crew member. They’ll give advice or do their best to accomodate.
matthewlane
Hi. Probs been asked 100times lol. But what's the best thing to keep autographs in during and after the event. As I have been keeping mine in the plastic toploader things. But I hear that it's bad for the autographs to be kept in them? Thanks

But I hear that it's bad for the autographs to be kept in them? Thanks Top loaders are the devils products! Lol, seriously though they aren't ideal as they aren't acid free so you run the risk of the autograph transferring from the picture to the toploader so I always advise they should not be used for long term storage. Some people have never had a problem with them but personally I would never take the risk. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000KN6HD6/?coliid=I3TKY4XO4IDHZ5&colid=DW4A1VFM63YD&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it Something like this is good for protection whilst you are at the event as it's rigid so gives protection from crushing and bending whilst you have it in your bags. Don't use it for long term storage either but it's very good for using at the event, just make sure the auto is dry before you put it in there as it might touch the side of the case, or make sure you put the 8x10 in there at an angle so it's not touching the case.
Raylenth
For long term storage I use the Ultra Pro pages but they are getting hard to find now, any folder insert pages are fine as long as they are acid free. I have started using a similar product to this as my folder is almost full https://www.londongraphics.co.uk/archival-photographic-image-box you can see it's listed as acid and chlorine free. A lot of people use the Conservation By Design products http://www.conservation-by-design.com/category.aspx?id=

Thank you. Will definitely invest in these and some acid free material to store. Cheers.
Nerd Who
Since you’re discussing storage solutions, I was contemplating buying this display book: https://www.londongraphics.co.uk/prat-pampa-spiralbook-black-inc-20-cristal-laser-sleeves or this one: https://www.londongraphics.co.uk/prat-siva-classic-press-book as my current display book is almost full. Have any of you guys tried this brand (PRAT)? Sleeves are acid-free so they should be safe for long term storage, right? Does it make any difference if they are in polypropylene or polyester? I have never used boxes, I just put my display books in a closed door bookcase in the dark, so how do they work, do you put display books or just the sleeves inside the boxes? Do you keep the boxes horizontally or vertically, and doesn’t it potentially harm the autographs to have them lying on top of each other?

Both are fine but have a read here, particularly the last paragraph for the difference http://www.clearfile.com/archival-storage.aspx I have never used boxes, I just put my display books in a closed door bookcase in the dark, so how do they work, do you put display books or just the sleeves inside the boxes? I keep mine laid flat, I mainly bought it as it was A3 so good for the larger items, I keep it in a cupboard I use for my signing stash. I separate them with acid free tissue paper just to be sure. 1

I’m planning on doing the same thing, so I have something nice to store autos and photos while I’m staying at the hotel whitout bringing anything from home and saving luggage space. That shop will probably end up being invaded by con-goers that weekend Edited March 19, 2018 by Nerd Who
