Raylenth
Same at the last thread, which was enjoyable to read, but for this year! If posting, please remember to add something about what you thought of it (watching any spoilers of course for new films) as just a list of films watched is a little boring.
The Friendly Dalek
First film of the year for me was Friday the 13th part 6- Jason Lives. Man, I love this one, it is a lot of fun to watch.

I don't recall it being said in Last Jedi. I will check when I watch it again for the fifth time
Jabberwocky50
Really enjoyed Molly's Game. Jessica Chastain was outstanding along with Aaron Sorkin's writing. Calling it now Sorkin will win the 2018 Oscar for "Best Adapted Screenplay"

homerj
Molly's Game - Excellent acting. Chastain shines, however, half an hour too long. The Greatest Showman (3 times) - excellent film. Hugh Jackman and Keala Settle are superb. Surely Oscars for Score and song.
Raylenth
The Lego Movie. Surprisingly enjoyable.

Brasco
War for the Planet of the Apes - Fantastic addition to the series. It was so much more than the trailers led you to believe. Definitely one to get you right in the feels. Paddington 2 - Still can't get my head around how much I enjoyed this. On paper I should have hated it lol
Bumper8
The Limehouse Golem. Good Victorian murder yarn with a top cast.
homerj
All the Money in the World - Christopher Plummer is brilliant. Great film. Hostiles - excellent acting but a little too long. Baby Driver - How did I miss this in the cinema? Cracking film, money well spent.

Spacecadet is here
Watched Hostiles the other day, A very good movie, its slow going but the action is good and story line easy to follow, even for a Camel like me. Also Booked to see the Last Jedi again later this week for the fifth time..
Raylenth
Sherlock Holmes 1 & 2 (RDJ version). Seen them before but love them.
Bumper8
Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell (1974) The last of the "Hammer" Frankenstein productions. Decent movie but the creature isn't much cop. As usual the wonderful Peter Cushing gives the movie a bit of class.

To say he did the whole thing in just 9 days, it really doesn't show. I also enjoyed The Greatest Showman over the Xmas holiday.
