DIAMOND & GOLD PASS COLLECTION - Thursday 27th July 2017

Customers will be able to collect Diamond Passes and Gold Passes from the National Hall Reception (eīntrance on Hammersmith Way) on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. Please note this entrance will not be used on days the show is open.

GOLD PASS ENTRANCE & COLLECTION - Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Collection will be located at the Grand Hall Entrance on Olympia Way (opposite Kensington Olympia Station)

MAIN ENTRANCE, PRE-PAID TICKETS, PAY ON THE DAY, DISABLED, EXTRA HELP  and DIAMOND PASS COLLECTION - Fri, Sat and Sun

Is located in the West Hall and accessed via Gate H

Diamond Pass collection is after bag check, but before the scanning/checking point for tickets. ie you can collect Diamond Passes, even if you are not attending the show on that particular day. Please note Diamond passes do not give entry to the show and you will need a valid ticket to gain entry.

IF YOU PICK UP DIAMOND PASSES FOR ANOTHER PERSON YOU WILL REQUIRE THEIR ORIGINAL PICTURE ID!! This means ID of the person given as ticket holder when placing the order.

The West Hall and Gold Pass area will start scanning and issuing of wristbands at the following approximate times

Fri 8am
Sat 7am
Sun 8am

Pay on the Day Tickets are subject to availability on a first come first served basis. It is extremely likely that Saturday will sell out prior to the event so we would recommend booking these as soon as possible. :D

Awesome! That's my Thursday plans sorted! Although I wish the Gold pass entrance for the weekend wasn't across the other side of the venue from the guests. With only 5 mins head start now, most of that time is gonna be spent crossing the venue!. I hope they do all ticket and bag checks before we go in as that will slow us down even more!

The extra help email tells us to queue with/near the Gold Pass people is this now not the case? Sorry I'm just a little confused as this was the case last year?

I'm assuming Gate H will be obvious once we get into the doors at West.

I've emailed the help@showmasters address about someone picking up my diamond pass on my behalf, haven't heard back yet. Does anyone have any info on that?

Not been before any chance of a map of the exterior please?

There was one on the FAQ before Photobucket screwed their customers, there should be one coming on there if you check back every now and again.

Perfect! Delighted to be able to pick up my diamond pass on the Saturday rather than Sunday morning.

So we collect our Weekend Pass/Wristband and the Extra Help Wristbad from one side of the building and and then queue at the other side? I'm just confused because obviously these passes can only be collected on the days of the Con and not the Thursday so when I get off the Tube instead of me not having to go that far around the building and just joining the queue as it was last year it's now in a different place is that right? The wrist bands and ticket scans for Disabled people were done within the queue they had been told to queue in within the email? Thanks for all your help clarifying this up I panic if things aren't straight in my head

I am hoping for this also.

Last year I picked up mine and my friends passes all in one go on the Friday without issue and it really helped our weekend.

Googed Olympia gates and came across the following map - https://www.kcl.ac.uk/campuslife/services/examinations/exams/Olympia-London---Venue-Map.pdf - looks like the only gate in West so same as last year and means we are queueing inside again (thankfully).

Glad to see college web sites are good for something

Another question. I'll be in the queue alone. As the diamond pass pickup is before entry if I get chatting with others in the queue can I rejoin them after collecting my dp if they have entered into the loading hall? What would I do? Ask a steward to escort me to them (i wouldnt want it to look like i am queue jumping)

Sorry, I know a lot of people are asking questions and I'm sure this is completely stupid of me, but just to clarify. So I'm one of the idiots that queues from silly o'clock for low virtual queue numbers. This year, for the first time, I've also bought a couple of diamond passes for guests. So do I need to go collect these diamond passes before queuing to get in?

Not sure Briscow. The collections desk may actually not be open that early so hopefully once we arrive we will see.  I'm hoping we can go and get our place in the queue and then go over to the Diamond desk at our convenience.

"Extra Help Entry – Please make yourself known to Showmasters front door crew.  If we have a gold pass holders queue please ask to enter there.  If you have a timed entry you can only enter after that time.  Our expectation is that you can enter with minimum queuing on this entrance instead of the standard line." From the email I received this seems to conflict with advice above. Which is correct?
