She replaced Zawe Ashton as Sergeant Sally Donovan in 'Sherlock'. In film, she has appeared in Mike Leigh's 'Vera Drake' [2004] and 'Powder' [2010].On stage her credits include 'Measure for Measure' [2004] at the National Theatre, a sequence of four plays with the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2005, and a national tour of 'War & Peace' [2008].
