Awesome guest! I can't wait!

Two questions: if i bought a diamond pass and i want add one extra photo, how it work? Can i have my photos one by one or i have to go back into the queue again?

How it work the delivery of the diamond pass this time?I have to wait a lot of time in queue to collect my passes? I hope not, because last summer i waste too much time! Mailing delivery is better, even if i have pay more...

It will be the same method as last year most likely otherwise you would have paid a postage fee when you bought it. You will need to print off your eticket and swap it for the diamond pass at the venue. However it may be better at the next show, it was only the second time they had done them this year and they may streamline it to make the process smoother.

Re the photo shoot's usually if you purchase a second one you can hand it over when you have your diamond pass one taken and they will just do one after the other, however as the diamond pass photo is with the tombstone if you have only bought an ordinary photoshoot for your second one you will need to queue separately for that one. If the second one you want to buy is another tombstone one you can have it done at the same time.

I've just checked the shop and the tomsbstone shoot looks to be an exclusive shoot for the diamond pass holders as they only have the standard and delorian ones in the shop, therefore you won't be able to have them at the same time as they are different shoots.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong though.

I'm considering buying the diamond pass as I'll be travelling from Manchester and want to guarantee an autograph.

However, I'll be attending on the sunday and the talk is planned for the saturday only.

Is there a talk on Sunday too or an option to have the diamond pass without the talk?

Do people think that you will need a diamond pass to guarantee an autograph on a sunday?

Hi Andy, if you have the Diamond pass you are under no obligation to use all of activities included in the ticket, if there's a part of it you can't or don't want to do you don't have to, but you cannot tailor the pass to your wants. It's either the whole package or not, you cannot get refunded on that portion of the ticket you don't use.

If there is an additional talk on Sunday you would have to buy an additional ticket for it as that talk wouldn't be included in the Diamond package and individual aspects of the ticket aren't usually transferable. As to if there is one taking place on Sunday I don't know, there aren't tickets on sale for one yet so there may not be.

People will tell you that the only way to guarantee an auto is to have a Diamond pass. Beyond that we can only speculate. He is a rare guest so a lot of people will want him. However other than MJF who was ONLY signing for Diamond pass holders I don't think there has been a guest who hasn't reached the VQ holders but they may not get through many. In 2015 Sigourney Weaver only got through about 10 non Diamond pass holders but beyond that I think most D Pass guests have done a few VQ ticket holders. It's a smoother process now that most people know how it works. I think Jeremy Renner got through a lot of VQ ticket holders last year and people weren't rushing through at light speed. Don't forget you have the Gold Pass holders to contend with if you want to consider going for a VQ ticket as well and they get into the venue 10 minutes before general ticket holder. Also how many days the guest is attending factors in, the fewer days they are there the less people they will get through.

What it boils down to is though is that no one can really say how it will go as there are so many factors involved, not least how quick he is at signing. If he's slow he's going to get through fewer people. If hundreds attend just for him there's going to be less chance.

You may be ok without the Diamond pass, a lot of people were last year, but no one can really say. If you want to be 100% certain of getting it, and you really really want to get his auto, and can afford the pass I would prefer to get it myself. That way you know you are sorted. If you are traveling down on the Sunday it's good to remember that people do start queuing very early especially when they have big/rare guests as they will want to get VQ tickets themselves so depending on when you arrive at the venue you may have none or a lot of people queuing already in front of you.

Remember to buy an entry ticket as well though.

The only other option would be to get one through the pre order service and you can book a photo shoot with him for Sunday so you actually get to meet him.

When Christopher Lloyd was there during the BTTF reunion dont think that many if any non diamond/gold holders got anything signed

Good point, Christopher is known to be a slow signer, but it's worth noting as it does happen. It's rare that they don't get to VQ's or not get through many but it does happen. I don't know if anyone can offer any insights on Tom's signing speed.

Yea, Christopher is a slow signer, I got my BTTF poster signed and he went quite slow, but I think that was just because he didn't want to mess up his auto.

On the subject of Tom Wilson, I hope he does personlisations because I would like to get him do one of these three quotes from BTTF -

1) "What ya lookin' at Butthead?!"

2) "Helllooo? Anyone home? Think ___ Think!" (replacing McFly with my surname)

3) "Now why don't you make like a tree...and get outta here!"

Thanks very much for the very useful advice.

Going to check the funds and make a decision :-)

Not only a slow signer, but Showmasters pretty much booked his weekend with all kinds of photoshoots (at least 4 different ones) and activities. As long as that doesn't happen with Tom Wilson, I think we'll be fine.

Not true I'm afraid.

He stopped behind and went onto VQ tickets once he saw the people who had been waiting for hours on the chance low VQ ticket holders might get the chance of an auto.

I couldn't give enough praise about Christopher, I posted about it on the night or day after or so.

This is no exaggeration the place was getting pretty empty they were taking tables and boards down around him and he was still signing.

Well and truly above and beyond for fans!
