But she want to know more about it and stuff Of where we could stay, is there an airport near? Or a train, because she doesn't like flying, she rather go undersea in that tunnel with the train from Belgium to England The best hotel? You guys have euro too? The nearest airport is Luton, it's about 15-20 miles away, there are regular bus and coach services to The Centre:mk where collectormania is held or you could get a cab / hire a car. There are plenty of hotels here along with Bed & Breakfast accomodation. it's worth booking early to avoid the rush. there's a link below for accomodation. the tunnel is a good option if you prefer to drive and if you travel through the night you can get a great price. i know of someone who regularly takes this route to belgium and back just for the weekend so it can't be too difficult The Euro isn't official currency here but alot of the larger retailers accept them (e.g. Marks & Spencers). you'll get a better exchange rate at a bureau de change though. some useful links... milton keynes online MK web go mk milton keynes accomodation visit britain Edited July 15, 2003 by houdinia Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

spudulator Posted July 18, 2003 Share Posted July 18, 2003 If you're travelling by train, you would get the Eurostar to London Waterloo, then catch the underground to London Euston where you can get a train to Milton Keynes. I would recommend flying, it's probably going to be cheaper, quicker and easier to fly to London Luton which is only a 20 minute drive from Milton Keynes. I have a exam in 2 years of German...To study off! I'm probably going to do a translater job of English and German! And if it doesn't work..I'll talk Dutch..German peeps understand it I'm so excited!
