Tracis
Aww, he was such a lovely guy and up for doing poses with people and I bet he got more than a few requests for Hannibal themed ones but was always happy to oblige. It would have been awesome if Hugh Dancy had been there this year and maybe even done a group one with Mads but that's probably just me being greedy! Would be great if Hugh came next year and since they are buddies, hopefully Mads will have a word and tell Hugh how much fun he would have if he came along.
Bradders
I met him first in front of Hilton, saturday morning, on my way to the Con. I'm quite shy normally, but wasn't sure to get a chance like this again. So I asked for a picture, and he was like "of course". Happy me! Then I met him later saturday, at the Con. I wasn't planning meeting him as he was an (almost sold out) Diamond Pass guest, and I didn't had a Diamond Pass for him. But there was no queue, so I took my chance. He was sooo down to earth, a real pleasure for a fan! We had a little talk (in Danish) about some of the Danish movies he's in, and about that I not have watched Hannibal yet (shame on me ). Then we exchanged our experience from the Con. and he (like myself) thought it was fantastic. And he loved to meet so many great fans! Fantastic guest!!! I saw you having your photo with Mads on Sat morning - I was busy munching a croissant outside Costa whilst admiring the view that was Mads! I'm glad you took the opportunity as I was far too shy. Impeccable timing as he left to walk to the venue just a couple of mins later. Glad you had a great experience, he's so lovely with his fans isn't he! natedammit
Next time I need to be more confident and ask him for a hug... This was basically what went through my head as I got to the front of the photoshoot queue: *Ask him for a hug* *Ask him for a hug* *Ask him for a hug* *I bet you won't ask him for a hug you wuss* "Hi, could I possibly get a hug?" *Ooooooooomiiiiiiiigooooooooood*
Faerie Tanith
I literally spent all those months building up to the con telling people " hahahaaaa I'm gonna get Hannibal hugs!!" But I didn't, because I'm a ball of nerves and fear. I got a warm hand grasp and an arm around my shoulders though... and touched his waist... next time, cuddles! Persephone1
That is the best thing I have ever seen. Were you aiming for a particular pose or just overcome by his rugged manliness?

Starbuck17
Really nice guy, he had time for everyone and in the words of my friend 'aggressively good looking'.
Dimpy
Mads was a really great guy to meet. I asked him about the torture scene in Casino Royale, and if he had to practice 'hitting' Daniel Craig with that rope - he said he did and he even hit him a few times! I love this kind of background info. Also, a BIG thankyou to the crew member who was taking pictures for the attendees on Friday (when I got this picture taken) - it was really appreciated. I thanked him at the time but didn't get his name.

Bet he was pleased to see this, they do like it when they get something different from the usual.
natedammit
I confess my brain wasn't entirely functioning at full capacity at the time but he did seem to be pleased, maybe even impressed (that's what I'm telling myself anyway). I told him I'd seen the film the night before and thought it was hilarious, he said it was crazy which I agreed. I was going to ask him to write a quote from the film in Danish, but I chickened out - slightly ironic given the title and subject of the film. MarioVl
My friend asked him to pose with a fork and knife; he posed using them on my friend's head. Some guy had prepared an amazing platter of delicious food and creepy skulls to pose with him, and he posed taking a piece of it and feeding it to the guy - which brought an applause from all of us in the queue. The only special thing about my photoshoot with him was my Hannibal T-shirt, but he took the time to compliment it. He constantly went the extra mile to create an amazing experience for all of us. Later I went to get an autograph for my friend. He was very nice, agreed to a table pic, and appeared interested in my proposal for a Spanish convention - most likely we won't be able to afford him in a million years, but hey, I had to ask. By the way, he couldn't give me his agent's contact info or get mine without slowing the queue, so the blue shirt girl attending him offered to help me get my info to his agent. Thank you thank you for that!! All in all, one of LFCC's best guests ever!

James_V3.0
Mads was the nicest guest i've ever met at a con. Granted, this was my first LFCC, but i've been to quite a few over the years and no one has made me feel as at ease and seemed as genuinely interested as Mads. Did anyone else get annoyed at him being announced as 'Mads' and constantly referred to as it? All it takes is a quick google search to realise it's pronounced 'Mass'? I know he doesn't mind it, but just seemed a little unprofessional. That's probably just me being pedantic. I managed to go to his auto desk when there was no queue on Sunday and had a few words with him about the show which was great and I mentioned 'The Hunt,' which I think is an incredible film. He was really impressed with my wound man replica too and signed that for me. All in all, had a great time and can't wait till next year.

Nadine84
Mads, was the reason for me to book my first convention ever...and he was awesome. I met him every day. And he was very nice everytime. Funny thing was..I asked him in the first photoshooting to hug me...suddenly I felt his hand on my ear and I just thought "hm whats he doing?"..when I got my picture I saw that he did his deadly Hannibal grab...so fantastic. When I gave him the picture to sign he wrote "you asked for it "..and smiled very cute ( I would upload it, but I dont know how). I would meet him again next year, if you invite him!!! Love him. :)
