A bunch of people who never met before, and possibly never will again, united only by their love of fictional stories and admiration for someone who plays pretend for a living, looking like they're having the time of their lives. This is what conventions are all about. All sharing a love for cool geeky things. Will probably not see many again but it was good to meet them, share stories and have a good time. Been part of the geek world for over 25 years and not regretted it once. Hopefully the actual digital files off the camera this year, not much smaller versions so they upload a fraction of a second quicker. Broadband speeds are fast, no need to lower quality of images these days for upload. Pleaaassseee! My Micheal J Fox shot last year the digital file was the size of a stamp! Argghh. The only one I ever met. Unfortunately my parents don't want any copies of my pics, but I think I will send them some anyway This year's pics are the best one of all the cons (except the one with Mads). I think it's because I am more relaxed and started to be less afraid to pose and ask them for hug or something. Still have great memories and still smiling when i think of Jeremy holding my hand *fangirl mode on*Likewise. I cancelled out of going for health and fiancial reasons. Plus, last year's put me off. If it hadn't been for incredible friends and family who kindly gifted me my passes and costs I wouldn't have been able to make it. (Yes, my friends are going to get sick of me relaying this story but I won't stop today xD xD) I had nearly a third heart failure at the beginning of the year (I have a chronic heart condition). Recovery was slow so my earnings prior to the event were crap. I reluctantly pulled out of the event then a week later Jeremy was announced. Knowing that I have tried to meet him for some time my friends and family arranged for me to go as a surprise. I was stunned, over the moon and because of that it really showed in my photographs. Never going to forget having 95% of my body smooshed up against his. We may not have got to say much but the photos, hugs and auto was so epically worth it. Never going to stop thanking my friends either even though they are now probably sick of me doing so, lol.
