Namine
So here's the skinny, myself and my mom went to eat at the pizza express and weren't very impressed with it, what other food options are there, like is there anywhere that would do discounts for con goers (I know when I went to a con back in 2013, a few restaurants would bring in discounts for the con goers. Spacecadet is here
This is London my friend.. Prices are high food is small. Lots of places outside the venue if you are prepared to walk and queue. Otherwise take a packed lunch hide it at the bottom of the bag so security don't nick it for themselves. If not enjoy the cardboard food in the venue. Hope this helps... And they don't sell Camel Food. I'll have to bring my own again.
Raylenth
Yeah, best advice I think would be to bring something with you. IIRC there was a cafe up stairs that I saw last year - I didn't go in myself but I'm sure it won't be cheap.
Queen_Sindel
Pizza Express, a cafe on the first floor and those few sandwich places inside. I tried Pizza Express one evening and they had run out of cheese, so.... A few pubs within walking distance are decent, but definitely London prices as the camel says. Namine
Oh I'm not worried about London prices xD, I just wanted to know if there were any decent places to eat xD . I think when I looked on the map via google, there was a indian resturant behind the olympia (the road behind it), not sure, I'll have to check again. Queen_Sindel
Okay, what's your definition of decent and is there a certain kind of food you are looking for then?
Namine
I'm not a fussy eater, I like anything and would give anything a try. XD And I mean by decent, I was joking cos I know all the places to eat are pretty nice xD

Namine
How bout a fry up or a roast on Sunday lol maybe and a big steak dinner lol not gonna be there on Sunday, only there friday and saturday. That's all I could get for the Hilton Olympia.
Faerie Tanith
I'd always advise bring your own food. Prices aside, I personally find the food places are always overcrowded anyway. I know it's a con and it would be foolish to expect anything less but that's just me.
Namine
WHAT !!!! You mean to say you have time to EAT ? are you mad ? You don't get time to eat at a place like this ! lol Or do you mean some where to eat on the Friday night ? If this is the case I would highly recommend a visit to China Town and a " all you can eat " Or stuff your face with place but don't eat to much or you will have Chinky Belly lol How ever bring a packed lunch with you that's what I always do its much much cheaper. Although I have to admit that the coffee shop I went to last year in the event wasn't very good that is to say it was but for your money verses coffee the cups where rather small That's why I always like going to the NEC at least they have a Starbucks ! lol I could go all day with out eating but coffee NO WAY ! lol I'm there Friday and Saturday. And where is Chinatown? I don't really wanna get a bus to there IF it's far away from the Hilton Olympia and yea I know all about that when you stuff your belly full of chinese food XD
RomeroSavini
Breakfast bars. Simple. Filling. Dont go bad. They do me well alllll day until I leave and splash out on a really big meal later on in one of the many wonderful eateries around the surrounding area. Just remember be careful what you eat, you do not want to need the toilet at the show haha They are hideous with tens of thousands using them daily haha Urrggh nasty. I might consider remembering this. I know the hilton olympia charges like £18 for a buffet breakfast (per person), but idk if I wanna pay that amount just for a breakfast on the morning. RoryMcGarrett
I simply don't eat and then I always go and grab something from Tesco, like a chocolate bar and some drink. No food no drink and no need to use the toilet :)

The Sunday evening sugar crash was a sight to behold.... I feel nauseous just seeing this... Also, I hope this ought to go without saying but I'll say it anyway... fear of the toilets aside, please please PLEASE remember to bring a bottle of water in a place so crowded in the middle of Summer, having to use the venue bathrooms is a small price to pay for staying hydrated. Be safe kids.

natedammit
I might consider remembering this. I know the hilton olympia charges like £18 for a buffet breakfast (per person), but idk if I wanna pay that amount just for a breakfast on the morning. To get your money's worth you need to steal stuff for the day ahead. There would usually be some kind of cake there, wrap it in napkins and stick it in your bag for later. A croissant if you prefer. There will be bread for toasting - make a sandwich (I suggest bacon; ham and cheese; or one of those tiny pots of jam - perfect for a mid-con snack). If you're really brave, take an empty water bottle and fill it with freshly squeezed orange juice (that one's only for experienced breakfast-stealers though). If anyone tries to stop you, just shout "£18???" at them. I simply don't eat and then I always go and grab something from Tesco, like a chocolate bar and some drink. No food no drink and no need to use the toilet :) I'm not a doctor, but I don't recommend this. Be safe kids. Still not a doctor, but this is a must. I always take a bottle of water and a bottle of diet coke, and I still often end up breaking the bank and buying something extra at the venue. So many people complain about the heat and lack of space - dehydration makes you feel 100 times worse.

RoryMcGarrett
Me not eating or drinking is something i tried multiple times when i was attending concerts so i don't have to leave my queue (hard life of alone goer to gigs and cons). I never had problems bigger than a headache after two days, but it is ok. At least I am not losing time in the line to the loo
